How thick is to thick? As a female that doesn't have that good of a butt i'm not sure the squats are helping and if it will after a year or so of working out.

Is there a limit of calories the body can process at once?

What is mean is - if I eat, for example, a 12k cal meal, will I really make 12k cal worth of gains?

you'll gain over 9000 kcal worth of fat.

but there is indeed a limit - the size of your stomach is finite. at some point you will start throwing up, and cant fit any more food into your belly.

also, beyond that - the amount of digestive enzymes your body can produce during a given timeframe is limited, too. if you cramp tons of food into your body at once, your digestive system might not be able to fully digest all of it before you start shitting it out again.

Started deadlifting a few months ago. My first PR was around 190lb I believe, now it's at 290lb. My question is, is this an "acceptable" PR for my my height and weight? I see posts of guys who are way smaller than I am, lifting A LOT more weight than me. Am I just weak or are they just too fucking good at this? Also what should be an ideal body weight for me if I want to be "bearmode"? Do you guys have any personal stories or comments and also do you have have some deadlifting transformation pictures? I honestly need some encouragement right now. Feeling like shit about myself Haha

I never grew out of it. I just live in shittier neighborhood and can't run at night anymore. That and weird knee issue. I used to run a 5k 6 days a week. Now I'm too busy or impeded by injury. I've recently turned to swimming. Its not that same :/

So I posted on here 2 weeks ago about losing weight by lifting and by recommendation me and my friends have started the stronglifts 5x5 program for 6 months. I've been lifting for two weeks 3 days a week and here's what I do

Squats 5x5
Bench Press 5x5
Leg Press 5x5
Various Dumbbell exercises

I'll post my body goal in the post after the OP. Do you guys have any recommendations or changes? Should I start adding cardio on the days I don't lift?

I make 4 cups of raw steel cut oats ever morning, add 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, half a banana, 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 cup walnuts, and a small spoonful of cinnamon. Pour myself a glass of almond milk with cinnamon and flaxseed to go with my oats and there is really nothing that can top it. Best oatmeal ever.
