Why doesnt america have a socialist program based for fitness? Would that straight-up fix the overwhelming rates of obesity and obesity-related illnessess. Why not cut welfare wages into a fitness social program then? Itll force them to 1) not overeat with the money they gotten 2) look into other social programs that could help them in dire situations

Let's say you lose 200 calories per sex session

Let's say the average calorie count of 1kg of meat is 2000kcal

Let's say you weigh 70kg

Let's say you contain 70 x 2000 = 140000calories

Let's say you keep having sex without ever eating or drinking

Let's say you have 800 sessions of sex in a row without eating or drinking

Let's say this means you've burned 800 x 200 = 160000calories

Now if you take your own caloriecount which is 140000 and you take off the burned calories which are 160000 you are left with -20000 calories

What does this mean for your body?

I'd like to preface this by saying that I've never been into fitness, been a skinny fat POS my whole life. I recently did a year of physical therapy to address pelvic pain. That experience changed my outlook on fitness and health and since being discharged I've been trying to keep up my regimen at home with the banding I was given by my PT. I've got a long way to go.

I do my "workouts" at home, mostly with resistance bands and body weight (and shit like big water bottles as dumbbells) because I'm getting started and that's the equipment I have.

I "worked out" for 45 minutes today and I had time to do a 5 minute mile on my stationary bike, 20 clams with resistance banding in 4 different positions (80 total), some yoga stretches, and that's it. It zipped by so fucking fast, though part of the time was spent fucking with my radio.

I'd like to know

Workout is 5x5 3 days a week, so only spend around 40 mins weight, then 20 min cardio. Gonna up my cardio next week though, it's a gradual thing.

There were numerous comments which indicated that many thought that speedos were too revealing, dirty, inappropriate or somehow indecent. What is it about Americans and their discomfort with the human body? In the rest of the world, a speedo is called a "swim suit" and everyone wears them from kids to 80 year olds.

Many people talked about how they would not wear a speedo because of "modesty". Lets be honest here, unless you have legs the size of Tom Platz and a package the size of a porn star, the reason you wear those baggy knee length swim trunks is embarrassment, not modesty. Stop pretending that you are modest and face the fact that you have body image issues. Either work with a therapist to become comfortable with your body the way it is or get your butt into the gym and change it!

Package size is something worth discussing. One of the most common worries that men seem to have is being inadequate in the size department. First, guys worry about this FAR more than women do. Guys have this really warped view on what "average" is, in most cases guys who think they are small are actually quite normal. If you look at any of the legitimate research that has been done about what gets a women interested in a man, package size doesn't make the top 10. For some gay men, size does matter, but if you are a straight guy, dont worry about it.

You'd need stamina for carrying around all the armor. Functional strength and power for swinging that heavy sword, and endurance for running.

I can't think of any other sport or workout that incorporates all of these things

How do I choose a routine? Don't tell me to do SS it us so boring and it takes less time to do than it takes me to go to and from the gym. Besides I'd like to go 4-5 times a week. So what things should I keep in mind when trying to make one up for myself?

Arnold Schwarzenegger says to always lift to fatigue even warm up sets should go to 15 reps so you tire your muscles.

Hodge twins say not to lift to fatigue so that you can complete all your sets with a relatively high amount of weight.

Alright /fit/, what are your options on football (or soccer, if you really must) for overall benefits to fitness?

Eg I play 1 hour per week. The rest of the week I'm normally doing strength work. Since football involves lots of sprints and agility based stuff, I'm thinking it must translate in to good cardio or even hiit...

I am a fat fuck. I fell for all the dumb fats logic, I try a diet and within 3 days I fuck up. I weigh 242 lb and am 5 foot 8. I have joined a gym with a pool, large free weights area (dumbbells up to 100kg and 2 squat racks with 300kg of plates each). I also have a bike.
I have seen the recommendation of Starting Strength everywhere... would that be best for me trying to 'cut' from whale to normal?
How much cardio would you recommend?

I work full time and would be able to guarantee up to 3 hours a day, 4 consecutive days a week every week, and the same for the other 3 every two weeks.

Please help me, I was falling into every delusion and just don't know what is has and feminise bullshit and what is real.

Breakfast - Porridge
Dinner - ham and reduced fat salad cream sandwich. 1 Clementine, 1 Apple, Water (no more damn fizzy juice) and a 100 calorie Cereal bar.
Supper - Seasoned Chicken breast (1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of whatever herbs I want that day and a single chicken breast) with 100grams of wholegrain rice.

I have replaced latte's with Black Tea with no sugar, and removed all fizzy juice from my diet.
