I've read the sticky and I can't figure it out. Is it possible to gain muscle while cutting? Can I cut BF% and gain muscle while eating at a deficit? (6'3 btw)

This is my "progress" first 6 months of lifting. 184 pounds on left, 208 on right. I gained a lot of weight but I feel like I don't look any different. I want to cut the skinnyfat and gain muscle... HOW DO I DO IT!?

Don't want to be a dick but it doesn't look like you even gained any muscle. Are you sure you're doing everything correctly? Check your form, check you're lifting the right amount of weight, check your routine, your diet etc.

Hi /fit/ im a gym noob and a female. I started working out a month and a half ago, and 2 weeks ago I noticed I look like I gained a little bit of weight, not muscle!
The strange thing is I've been measuring myself a lot these 2 weeks and I still weigh the same.
I read somewhere that muscles can become temporarily bloated from the stress, especially in the cases of beginners. Is it possible that this is the case? If so, how long does it last, and will I look better after this phase? Currently I just seem like I've gained a few pounds but im still the same weight so it seems I haven't gained neither fat nor muscle.

Get a fucking job and work 2 hours at minimum wage a month so you can afford gym
Do push-ups jumping jacks, burpees or just walk a lot at bare minimum.
Losing fat is mostly diet not exercise.
Count your calories with my fitness pal, or if extremely lazy but not diabetic just do low carb, helped me stay full on low cal, also do 16 hour fast aka skip breakfast
I know you won't actually do this since your post was entirely excuses.
You sound more excuse ridden than me and I'm an alcohol.
