I don't think it does anything at all
>>36629436
that stuff makes me have horrible horrible nightmares.
their than that it's ok.
>>36629500
>their than that it's ok.
you ok man?
Is there any chance of making it without taking whey protein? How the fuck is someone supposed to get in 150+g of protein per day without spending all day at home preparing meals?
>>36629343
It's easy as fuck. 650g of chicken breast is like 190g protein on its own. Stop bitching, whey really isnt needed.
Eat lean meat, chicken or fish. It's easy, faggot.
Daily reminder that if you aren't eating the 30g of protein per 100 cal provided by pic related you are never gonna make it.
>30g protein
>120 kcal
fuck off fgt.
literally impossible
bottom tier b8
>>36629105
>I literally have no ideal what the fuck I'm talking about
>be me, pale skinny fat weakling
>comfy desk job making skrilla
>come here and talk shit to "alpha" meatheads
>watch them get flustered
>not a damn thing you can do about it
>laugh behind my computer screen
>"alpha" lifting faggots go cry back to their $15/hr physical trainer gig
>"alpha" lifting faggots have to get a second job as a GNC cashier just to make ends meet
But hey at least you can deadlift 400 pounds right?
Wow you guys are so alpha
Top fucking kek
jokes on you I'm a neet without education
You're literally shit posting because you're a skinny faggot. But hey, at least I'll be fucking you're wife while you provide for her and bring up my kid.
15 quid an hour is that the minimum wage in you country? I'd kill for that.
I've been doing strong lifts for nearly 2 years now and I've reached the point where I don't want my squat to increase any more. I'm more interested in building my upper body, particularly my shoulders, so is switching out back squats for front squats a bad idea?
>>36629033
Bump
Just alternate bsck and front squats. You don't want to lose the progress you already made with back squats.
>>36629033
Don't think it will affect your shoulder development
The only thing is that front squats do not active as many muscle groups as back squats in the lower body
Is bacon a super food?
No. It will clog your arteries.
>>36628989
>cancer
>atheroma
>smelling like wet ham
>haram
Hahaha. Bacon is like, bottom tier shit.

What have you had today? Cutting? Bulking? Maintaining?
>soy chicken
Cutting, literally 1 egg with 20 grams of turkey, an orange and 2 oz of tuna for the whole day.
I already had my egg + turkey will eat the orange around 10 am then go to bed at 12 wake up at 9pm and eat the tuna around 11pm.
Repeat for as many days as possible.
>>36629370
Goodbye gains
How do you resist temptation on a cut?
>>36628966
I masturbate.
Typically after I jerk it, I am no longer tempted to sex anyone but gf.
I eat a cookie or a chocolate or something sub 50 cal a day for a few days and I don't feel like eating any more cookies.
>>36628966
Separate yourself from the food until the temptation is gone.
If you constantly feel the temptation, practice catching yourself when you sub-consciously start to stuff your face, the best thing about this strategy is that it'll last longer than separating yourself from the food.
Hello amigos im a 21 year old weak NEET from Germany who has to get his shit together in the fallowing 3 months because im gonna get kicked out to learn how to stop being a punk ass bitch the hard way.
My body/brain is pretty shit and unbalanced/low functioning which is probably the main reason why im so pathetic so i desided to build a homegym to recover. I have 1k€ to spend on equipment and nutrition but im pretty much a leaf in the fucking wind and maybe you can give me some advise on what to buy for max. progress in a timeframe of 3 months. My main plan is to do SS and half of GOMAD.
Also general Home Gym Thread
what can I say, I understand why you're being kicked out..
>>36628988
Well yeah i convinced my parents to kick me out because im trying to start my own business and need the pressure to succeed. I never really worked a real job most of the time i invested other peoples money or played poker.
>>36628962
Good luck kameraden.
Probably the wrong country to decide to be an entrepeneur but..
Has anyone here ever tried these?
I've been thinking about making these and pistols and sprints my leg training. i went to feel athletic again and i feel that squats and deadlifts (conventional) are too taxing to be able to benefit from both them and athletic training
>>36628886
it's just a deadlift with sumo mixed-grip?
>>36629038
much more narrow stance
>>36629090
that's just because his femurs are long, so that stance width works for him.
to be honest, i don't really see how this is a "new" exercise. it's just a deadlift variation and negatives. negatives are great, don't get me wrong, but they're not new.
if you want to be athletic, weightlifting isn't the right direction. running, swimming etc, more cardio stuff. weightlifting is about maximum power in short bursts, not about endurance.
if you want to look better, then you can do some lighter deadlifts and squats for hypertrophy instead. maybe those won't be too taxing?
Does this really make a good forearm exercise or is it just a meme?
they make tiny difference over a long time.
just deadlift and farmers carry m8, will work better.
>>36628843
thanks man
deadlift and basically any exercise I need a strong grip to support? Or does deadlift have some special features that make it ideal for forearms?
>>36628884
I noticed any sort of pull exercise works forearms well, and pull exercises tend to need a lot of grip strength. so ye.
If you look at a middle-aged man who has done manual labour, his forearms are generally massive.
Push Press vs Strict Over head Press.
Which one do you guys prefer?
>>36628826
Strict. I do both tho
>>36628826
Strict.
strict, better carryover to my bench
I have heard all my life that exercise should make you feel better, but for me it's the complete opposite. Even if it's something I personally love, like badminton, I feel like I don't enjoy anything afterwards. I still exercise to stay fit, but I don't enjoy it at all and will in fact be miserable for the rest of the day.
What is wrong with me?
>>36628642
Exercises dont make you feel better.
Lifting doesnt change your life.
Doing sports doesnt make you more confident.
ITS ABOUT THE BODY.
Having a phenomenal body makes you feel better.
Being super shredded and jacked changes your life.
Having 17" inch arms and 6 pack abs makes you more confident.
> HUUR BADMINTON DOESNT MAKE ME FEEL BETTER
> Badminton
I have found your problem
>>36628642
Idk. But try not to be miserable man. As shit as that sounds, one day you are gonna wake up and be 80 and about to die. Lets try and push bad thoughts out of our head for now. We only get one life.
Eat more
ITT: your favorite /fit/ meals?

>>36628606
>Fine macros
Are you cutting, or why do you have so low amount of carbs?
>>36629669
i get my carbs from fruits, rye bread etc as well. there is pasta as well. But yes, im cutting.
Are your parents healthy, /fit/?
Do they lift or do some kind of physical activity?
I am trying to steer my mother into fitness.
She already does those "groups" where she jumps around for an hour, with maybe some weights and ab work. But she just wrecks herself and achieves nothing.
She is a bit fat (even though she weighs the same as when she was 20), has close to 0 muscle mass, no flexibility in the upper/back region and a bit of kyphosis.
I figured some very light lifting plus a lot of stretching would do the trick but she's stuck in
>I have no time
>I already do physical activity
>I'm old and had a child (had me 22 yrs ago), there's nothing I can do about it
I guess I'm gonna have to convince her to go see some physiotherapist and do some work tailored to her situasion instead of that common denominator group shit she does. She's not against that. I feel optimistic.
I just want one of my parents to live to see their grandchildren, I've given up on my father (huge gut, already had a "non-Q" hh, borderline alkie, always angry), I wanna at least save my mom
>>36628368
my dad used to be a rock climber of like 30-40 years or something until he fucked one of his tendons. he's basically popeye mode.
my parents are both fatasses.
I ended up being a fatass as well because "muh genetics" and "you are not fat, you are big boned like us".
Took the red pill few months ago and started counting calories, lost 30 lbs since then and still have 40 lbs to lose.
Meanwhile, my father (he is a retired cook) first tried to sabotage my new lifestyle, then started a huge fight. He doesn't speak to me since.
I don't give a fuck, they ruined my life once, not going to let it happen again. I live on my own now and cook my own meals. Left my cheating gf, started university again, trying not to stalk the girl i used to be in love with for 8 years before she cheated, eating right, walking my GSD, walking a lot, trying to get my shit together.
people never change, especially old people. In fact i'm not really changing, i just left behind someone that wasn't me and trying to find my true self. It hurts.
Sorry for my broken english
>>36628414
also, good on you for trying to get your parents into fitness, but I don't think you should give up on your dad. like you said seeing his grandchildren could be an amazing thing for someone before they die, he wasn't always an angry alco right?
