I've been doing strong lifts for nearly 2 years now and I've reached the point where I don't want my squat to increase any more. I'm more interested in building my upper body, particularly my shoulders, so is switching out back squats for front squats a bad idea?

The only thing is that front squats do not active as many muscle groups as back squats in the lower body

Cutting, literally 1 egg with 20 grams of turkey, an orange and 2 oz of tuna for the whole day.

I already had my egg + turkey will eat the orange around 10 am then go to bed at 12 wake up at 9pm and eat the tuna around 11pm.

Repeat for as many days as possible.

Hello amigos im a 21 year old weak NEET from Germany who has to get his shit together in the fallowing 3 months because im gonna get kicked out to learn how to stop being a punk ass bitch the hard way.

My body/brain is pretty shit and unbalanced/low functioning which is probably the main reason why im so pathetic so i desided to build a homegym to recover. I have 1k€ to spend on equipment and nutrition but im pretty much a leaf in the fucking wind and maybe you can give me some advise on what to buy for max. progress in a timeframe of 3 months. My main plan is to do SS and half of GOMAD.

I've been thinking about making these and pistols and sprints my leg training. i went to feel athletic again and i feel that squats and deadlifts (conventional) are too taxing to be able to benefit from both them and athletic training

that's just because his femurs are long, so that stance width works for him.

to be honest, i don't really see how this is a "new" exercise. it's just a deadlift variation and negatives. negatives are great, don't get me wrong, but they're not new.

if you want to be athletic, weightlifting isn't the right direction. running, swimming etc, more cardio stuff. weightlifting is about maximum power in short bursts, not about endurance.
if you want to look better, then you can do some lighter deadlifts and squats for hypertrophy instead. maybe those won't be too taxing?

I noticed any sort of pull exercise works forearms well, and pull exercises tend to need a lot of grip strength. so ye.

If you look at a middle-aged man who has done manual labour, his forearms are generally massive.

I have heard all my life that exercise should make you feel better, but for me it's the complete opposite. Even if it's something I personally love, like badminton, I feel like I don't enjoy anything afterwards. I still exercise to stay fit, but I don't enjoy it at all and will in fact be miserable for the rest of the day.

What is wrong with me?

i get my carbs from fruits, rye bread etc as well. there is pasta as well. But yes, im cutting.

Are your parents healthy, /fit/?
Do they lift or do some kind of physical activity?

I am trying to steer my mother into fitness.
She already does those "groups" where she jumps around for an hour, with maybe some weights and ab work. But she just wrecks herself and achieves nothing.
She is a bit fat (even though she weighs the same as when she was 20), has close to 0 muscle mass, no flexibility in the upper/back region and a bit of kyphosis.
I figured some very light lifting plus a lot of stretching would do the trick but she's stuck in

my parents are both fatasses.
I ended up being a fatass as well because "muh genetics" and "you are not fat, you are big boned like us".
Took the red pill few months ago and started counting calories, lost 30 lbs since then and still have 40 lbs to lose.
Meanwhile, my father (he is a retired cook) first tried to sabotage my new lifestyle, then started a huge fight. He doesn't speak to me since.

I don't give a fuck, they ruined my life once, not going to let it happen again. I live on my own now and cook my own meals. Left my cheating gf, started university again, trying not to stalk the girl i used to be in love with for 8 years before she cheated, eating right, walking my GSD, walking a lot, trying to get my shit together.

people never change, especially old people. In fact i'm not really changing, i just left behind someone that wasn't me and trying to find my true self. It hurts.
