How the fuck is it possible that a fitness board doesnt have a thread dedicated to injuries?
I fucked up my acl and meniscus recently and will most likely have to go to surgery. A knee specialist examined me and according to him I have a textbook case of acl/meniscus partial tear. I will be doing further scans and xrays in a few months when I finish with my uni exams. Now in the meantime, since I cant squat or play any sports, I was wondering if doing light cardio like jumprope could fuck my shit up even further before the operation. I do feel slight uneasiness in the knee while and after moving and I dont want to aggravate the injury further.
Anyone else had experience with acl/meniscus tears? Will waiting to have it fixed make it worse? How did your rehab go and did you have any recurring problems related to it? Same questions apply to all the other injuryfags who post in this thread.

About six months ago I got a really fucking bad stomach infection and was in severe pain for three days. I got a bit better but then a few days later my stomach got crazy bloated. Now for six months I've pretty much been abnormally bloated and I pretty much constantly have a stomach ache, sometimes it's worse than others. I have a couple of more tests to do but doctor is pretty much writing it off as IBS which means I'm fucking screwed to a lifetime of chronic stomach ache. On the plus side I don't have the constipation or diarrhea part at least.
Apparently people with post-infectious IBS have a 50% likelihood of recovering within a few YEARS. The rest are doomed to a lifetime of a fucked up gut. Wondering if any of you also have or had this pleasant predicament. Any chance you recovered from it? What do?

Keep a food diary; some foods will exacerbate your symptoms, most won't. In my case it's alcohol, milk (but not lactaid, yay me), and highly-processed foods make me feel like garbage.

It's not that I'm ugly. I'm actually pretty attractive, and I don't have any problem getting pussy.
But I have come to the realization that human relationships are vain and shallow as fuck.
