Anyone have any advice for someone who wakes up tired every morning? I can get 8 hours sleep or even 11 but still every morning I wake up groggy and fucked up.
Usually find myself setting 3 - 4 alarms just to get up on time, otherwise I pretty much shut them off while half asleep.
Is this a health/diet issue or is it a matter of manning up and pushing through?

You may just be waking up between sleep schedules. Also, setting an alarm with never really be ideal for waking up but for most humans it is unfortunately the only option. I had a similar problem and found that going to bed earlier and going way overkill on my sleep helped me out.

How the hell do I meet people in uni? Especially girls? I'm fourth year, never lived on campus and still don't, and the few people I knew graduated, including my now ex gf who dumped me a couple of weeks ago. Just got back from my first time at the gym in my life. Here are my numbers -
Squat: 80 pounds
Bench: 75 pounds
BB Row: 70 pounds.
How am i doing for my first time? Should i try to add 5 or so pounds every time i go? What was it like when you guys first started lifting?

Still, I stopped lifting in late 2013 after a terrible knee injury which has left me to this day unable to squat heavy hurts from time to time. Resumed lifting in early 2015. I've injured everything there is to injure, currently dealing with surpaspinatus tendonitis which has left me incapable of lifting all summer. Today marks 7 days since it stopped hurting, so I did some pushups and inverted rows.
I've got anterior pelvic tilt from sitting all my life and terrible shoulder mobility which I'm trying to get sorted out.
I rarely post. I've come to you, my comrades in spaghetti, to get some shit genetics/injury recovery motivation and inspiration, to get kicked back into lifting. I know I'll never look like a fitness model but I want a body that looks and is strong and functional. I'd appreciate pictures of people with similar genetics that have "made it" as well. Just to see it can happen.

I've got some bad health too, anon, but when I don't feel like lifting, I just grab some weights. I can be dreading my work out, be sick as a dog, exhausted, but I still grab some iron and start to hoist. It sucks, but train when you can with what you can. Don't hurt yourself, but do what you can; rain or shine and you'll be glad you did.
i have no goal, i have fucked up knee, can't even squat or do any other exercise that uses knee.

I cannot decide in which direction I would like to go. Powerlifting training is way more fun and suits my strengths, whereas I will never be a good bodybuilder (thx genetics) but I do care about my aesthetics. Since I do not build muscles easily, going powerlifting mode would probably make me look alot smaller.
