What the FUCK is the point of squatting if it doesn't even help get a GF?
I've been lifting for 5+ years and lately I've been starting to get a weird tingly feeling on my hamstrings and lower back that's my legs feel like jelly.
I took some time off squatting and the tingly feeling went away and my waking and posture felt a lot better. I started squatting again and the tingly feeling came back.
I'm fucking done with this shit. It's not even worth it anymore. I'm buying a leg press for my home gym, I just can't ducking squat without it ruining my body. I can only imagine what will happen to me if I keep trying to squat for the next 10+ years.

People jerk off to the squat, bench and deadlift (and surprisingly the OHP) because they are the powerlifts. You have a bunch of wanabe bodybuilders that brag about their gym total which is pathetic. I will let you in on a little secret - exercises are just tools to reach a certain goal. If you aren't a powerlifter there is no reason for you to be back squatting if it hurts your legs and lower back when front squats and leg presses will provide you with the same level of quad development.

When I first started lifting years ago, I fell for the Startting Stength meme hard. I stopped squatting completely when I realized my quads and legs were greatly outstripping my upper body in terms of size.
Every few months I try to get back into squatting but every time I try I don't like how it makes my knees feel.
If your body is kicking up red flags when you do a specific lift, then don't do that lift. If you're just trying to look aesthetic, there are alternatives to virtually every compound lift that /r/Fitness loves fapping over.

In terms of lower body stuff I stick to deadlifts (for the sick back and glute pump) and barbell hip thrusts & glute bridges. Occasionally I'll do calf stuff if I want to feel sad and depressed for the rest of the day.

On my leg days I just do deads, DB lunges, and some kind of finisher like leg press or maybe squats for just a set or two. Most of the work is deads and lunges.
Try some kinda lunge. Remember to put your weight on the front leg.
Which one do you prefer and which one is an overall better exercise? i read somewhere that front squats are superior to back squats but can't find any reliable information at the moment so i'm coming to the broscientists on /fit/

alternate between both of them to get best of both worlds. you can do more weight with back squats and front squats have great carry over to C&J.

Eat like cutting but lift and eat protein like bulking, so you don't lose your strength by cutting normally

So I don't have time to cook because I'm in uni and also working a job because I'm not a fucking bum. Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to to eat well, cut some weight, and not have to spend all too much time cooking?
