Hey /fit/.

Long time admirer from /tg/, long time lazy shit from Zyzz-land. I finally pulled my finger out and said FUCK IT.

No fast food.
No soft drinks/sodas, I drink water and tea instead.
Cut down on any unnecessary sugars (still have milk and sugar in my tea atm).
I snack on cucumber and snow peas instead of chips and dip.
I eat salads now (They are definitely not as bad as I thought once you get used to them.
Cut down on my red meat, and I cook chicken and turkey either without oil or steamed.
Most importantly, NO EXCUSES. Just cause I leave work tired and KFC smells nice, doesn't mean I can't cook something at home.

It's only been 2 weeks, but a switch has flipped in my head. I no longer snack because I'm hungry at my weekly D&D game and I brought Doritos and iced tea for the others.

Tonight, I'm really happy because I saw some results, however small. I weigh myself at the end of Judo every week, and I went from 89kgs (196 pounds) last week to 85.5kgs (188.5 pounds). And I got my blue belt after just over 2 years tonight.

I've been inspired by you guys because I think it's so cool how a bunch of people who are passionate about improving themselves get together and motivate each other. I hope you guys get a good feeling knowing you've helped me improve myself.

TL;DR, you guys inspired me to better myself and I'm starting to improve already.

Guys help me I suck at squats,

I always had trouble with squatting, to be honest when I started going to gym i skipped legs because i had some surgery and later i forgot about them. First time I started doing squat i couldn't squat 1pl after few months. Last year I did SL 5x5 and made it to 70 kg, but when I try to go heavier I cant hold my back strait and always fall forward, also my knees starts shaking sometimes. I tried lowering weigh but it was still hard and couldn't go past 70kg (5x5) ,I did 85kg 1 rep, that's my max.

I didn't go to gym since summer last year, I mostly did calisthenics outside. Yesterday i went back to gym and it was really hard for me to squat 50 kg. How do i fix my legs? Should I add more exercise, try squatting with just bar, do more stretching?

Im 193cm around 90 kg, 1 rep bench is 100, dead lift 140kg.

I think so too, but when I ask trainer from gym or some of my friends to watch me they say its fine.

Also i forgot to say that my elbows hurt after squatting, it hurts less if i grab bar really wide.

just check out some youtube videos on how to squat and see if you are missing anything. Also try low bar if you are doing high bar, I find it a lot easier. Experiment with different feet width also. Keep it light and get the form right.

I cannot stop getting random injuries. Five months in and five injuries. I know you'll all say it's bad form but it's not, they're just bizarre injuries. Latest is tennis elbow that came out of absolutely nowhere. I'm never going to make it. Also wat do?

Injuries aren't totally random especially if you're getting them regularly. If you can't analyze your workout and find what motion caused it then you're a goddamn idiot. Tennis elbow comes from overuse or excessive stress.

If I'm being honest, the first three were most likely a result of not stretching/warming up properly and the shoulder was definitely poor form on the brench. This elbow forearm catastrophe is strange though, I've been doing the same routine with no issue until my shit went full JUST a day ago.

I'm coming towards the end of my cut and stalling hard. I wanted to start supplementing with albuterol but last time I used it they were little capsules that came in foil. The caps had little white balls in them.

The stuff I got from the pharmacy (vietnam will sell you anything) this time are white pills like pic related; 2mg a pop.

Are they the same? Am I going to die?

Why would you bother taking something from a shady source when that something is pretty mediocre in it's pure form. It's not like cutting is difficult, you may shave off 2-4 weeks off your cut or potentially fuck your shit up if what your taking isn't what you think it is, seriously isn't worth it when in 6 months you wont give a shit that you finished your cut a few weeks early(at best).

What is the easiest way to go from squat to lying flat on our your stomach and back to squat?
I am applying for a job where I have to pass some killer physical form tests basically, and part of them is a test where for two minutes minutes you have to:
- stand straight
- squat
- get flat on your stomach
- squat
- stand up
- same as above but get flat on your back this time
- you now finished two reps
- do as many as you can for two minutes
Since we will be doing push up tests before, my arms will be almost useless, so i am pretty scared of failing since my physique is a joke. I have to do at least 30 reps (ideally 38)
