My muscles feel completely destroyed after going to the gym for the first time yesterday. Whatever I do, it feel extremely sore with a bit of pain.

Okay guys so i fucked up and i need some advice.

Im am cutting at 2500 cals a day and this morning i was craving some poptarts so i binge ate the fuck out of some. I counted it up and it turns to 2000 calories of just poptarts.

Yeah i fucked up bad. I know. And i have had no protein all day. What should i do? Should i just fast the rest of the day to stay under my 2500 cut? Or should i get some protein in me at the risk of going over my 2500 limit?

Im thinking just have some scoops later today for protein and nothing else. Thoughts?

Face pulls are like the magical cure to all shoulder ailments and I never even heard of them until a few months ago. I believe they should be done at least 3x a week for optimal shoulder health.

Started out lifting and cutting a week ago. What sort of equipment should I get (maybe sorted by importance) that I can buy off amazon and such websites?
I'm talking about for example food scales, possible small equipment like ab rollers, maybe a tape measure and everything else.
Basically anything /fit/ related

Been trying to find more efficient ways of training, and was wondering whether there is a difference between the two (contraction speed of muscle versus the power output of a muscle) or whether they're synonymous.

My own attempts at finding legit sources have come up a bit empty so far. Anyone able to provide an answer?

You should take a few seconds contracting the muscles, as if you could stop the weight at any point in the lift and hold it, this way you are fully in control of the weight and it is your muscles working rather than just relying on momentum to do the lifts for you.

Sorry, it seems I should add more detail to the question.

To be more specific, I'm trying to figure out whether the contraction-speed of the cells in the target muscle have a high to very high correlation with the peak power output of the cells.

I'll be 30 in August. I started exercising 2.5 years ago at 420+ lbs.

Weight = 275 lbs.
Bench = 300 lbs.
Squat = 455 lbs.
Dead = 515 lbs.

I'm going to lift natty until 35, then I'm going to do test like Asian in math class.

I have a trip 2 weeks out to Miami with a couple of my mates.

I am terrible at planning and it's come down to the last two weeks and I need to lose at least some weight.

I basically have zero expectation because I know about the reality of the situation but at the same time how do I maximize the weight loss these next two weeks and what is the max weight loss to expect.
