Lately when doing stretching exercises I've been starting to feel pain in my knees. Not unusual one'd say. Though nearly every single source I try to find referring to this talks about the the medial side of the knees. For me, the pain is on the lateral side.
So question, anyone know why during the splits I get pain on the lateral sides of the knees (between tibia-patella)? It seems counter intuitive.

Is it inside or outside pain? If it is outside it is likely your IT band. At least this was my problem. Foam rolling and stretching it out properly should help. I am no doctor though, so do you.

The pain is on the outside, though (unless the pain radiates and I shouldn't trust my senses), the pain seems to become from below the kneecap (left-bottom). That is what confuses me.
Was the pain you felt with your IT band to the far outer side?

So here's one thing I never read on the sticky or see on this board discussed.
I recently upped my cardio taking it semi-serious and besides the obvious endurance gains - it actually upped my weight rep range I workout with unexpectedly. I expected weaker lifts as a trade off but it's been the opposite and it's been like this for 2 months now. I've kept my calories the exact same, so can I expect a steady increase for the future if I keep this up?

Hey /fit/ gonna keep it simple. I used to be a fatass and weighed 220 lbs and now I am 135ish
I did lift when I lost weight but I ended up skinny fat (pic related) should I keep losing weight or just bulk? I have been stuck at this weight for a while now and have been thinking of just bulking now to gain some muscle then cut later. I think it's a mix of skin and fat...thoughts?

Anons, what fuels me might be petty, but for quite some time now, what fuels me on a sick level, every single fucking day, is the need to overcome the man who stole the heart of my childhood crush. Ironic enough, I also work with this girl, and every day, even though she fights her fiance a lot, she always talks of his muscles, and fuck does that burn a hole in my heart. My adrenaline kicks in like a never-ending burning explosion of pure sheer energy that is so fucking raw, that if you could harness a drop of it, it should last one anon a fucking year of inspiration. My hatred, my rage, my desires, my wishes, my wants, my depression, my lust, my soul POURS into the forge of fucking SHEER WILL POWER. The question for me isn't how many reps I can do. How do I know how many calories I burn running? I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and ran 3.4 miles. My watch (Gear S2) said I burned 350 calories, the treadmill said I burned 500 and MyFitnessPal said 600. Which number is more accurate? Is there a better way to measure?
Your watch is the most accurate. The rough rule is 100 calories per mile.
