I've recently started doing Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strenght Program.

Most of the major exercises are 3x5, while my friends do 5x5, what's the difference between 3x5 and 5x5? Am i doing enough?

So I had my T levels tested as part of a normal checkup. They came back around 125, so much lower than the 400-1000 level they should be at. Im 30 yo, probably 20%bf and shave my head because my hair was thinning bad. I was tested again to be safe a month later and it was the same so my doc put me on Fortesta gel. Pretty sure this shit isnt working because anything other than the injections are memes. Next step will be the injections which appear to be like injecting concrete.
Tell me, if my T levels go up will there be any noticeable differences? Will my life turn itself around or should I just end it now?

quite small, especially squats. I grew creepily fast and as a result am very unflexible. I was 6'2 by 7th grade and topped off from there. At most 2plate for bench and squat and I cant seem to get over 1 for OHP. 5x5 that is.

Hey guys, newfag here. I generally just lurk but I'm posting this today because I didn't know whether I should consider consulting a doctor. I started lifting and general excercise about 3 months ago and last week I noticed I started growing hair in some areas I didn't have before, mainly pic related, forearm and new areas in the chest.
Mind you I'm 24 yo so I don't think this could be some late-teen thing, so I just wanted to ask whether any of you started growing hair once you started lifting/losing weight/excercising and whether you've consulted to a doc before.

Is a 1000 calorie deficit too much?

Just started cutting for summer, worked out my BMR and its about 3500 calories to maintain, but i can eat roughly 2500 calories (220g protein minimum) and its bareable and theres no point in the day where I'm actually hungry or feel like i need more food. I've been eating 6 meals a day mainly lean meat and veg or a protein shake in the mornings. I've been training for about a year and a half, I train heavy as possible 4 times a week and box for 2 hours once a week, I also have a fairly active job..

I want to lose as little strength and size as possible, is this too much of a deficit?

100KG
20ish % bodyfat

1RM -

Bench - 110KG
Squat - 130KG
Deadlift - 185KG
