What's the most amount of protein you can eat/drink at one time? Is it different based on weight/height, or the same across the board? According to all sources my daily goal is 1.3-1.5 of body weight, which can be as much as 300+ grams of protein. Not counting food, every shake has two scoops which is 50g. What's stopping me from upping it to 3 scoops for 75g a shake, so that 3 + food gets me what I need?

I can't deadlift anymore than 315 (double overhand grip) without the bar prying open my girly ass hands. I looked up some grippers but I have no clue which resistance to start with, and I am not willing to spend $20 a piece for these damn things. I got a P90x adjustable one which only goes to 90lbs (which most of adjustable ones max out to) but it's too easy. Anyone successfully increased their grip strength using certain methods? What else can I try?

I know there's studies saying that higher volume (lower reps) sees better performance increase than lower volume (higher reps) but Ive been experimenting and think I could progress better on lower volume and higher reps because I dont get so tired and am able to overall lift more during a working.
For example, if I do 3x5 (~90% max) bench press, it takes me about 12-15 min total. I could do 5x8 with (~80%) in the same 12-15 min but dont feel so tired afterwards. When I try to do reps with 90% max, I feel very taxed and my workout tends to be 45-60 min long. Since Ive started doing lower weight, higher reps, I have the energy to workout for 30 more mins and since I have more energy, I am able to add in additional sets for each muscle group and thats making me progress more both in strength and size.
Any thoughts on this? I think lifting higher volume taxes my body more and it makes me have to recover longer. Maybe its something to do with my CNS?

I need help /fit/. I just split with my partner after 2 and a half years. I've never stept inside a gym but I need advice on the best way to start. When I was younger I did a bit of callisthenics but nothing that made me look more solid, just defined. Always had a case of skinny-cuntitis and I want to fix that.
