I can't deadlift anymore than 315 (double overhand grip) without the bar prying open my girly ass hands. I looked up some grippers but I have no clue which resistance to start with, and I am not willing to spend $20 a piece for these damn things. I got a P90x adjustable one which only goes to 90lbs (which most of adjustable ones max out to) but it's too easy. Anyone successfully increased their grip strength using certain methods? What else can I try?

Use that in conjunction with a gripper. Start slow, take it easy, and you'll be a kung-fu master in no time.

pinch grip plates, heavy farmers walk, heavy pull ups 1-3 times a week.
also use finger bands for extension or you have forearm pain.

In the past year I have been very focused on getting my grip up. A staple in my training is static trap bar holds with Fat Gripz on the handles. I just have a linear progression on it and it works just fine. I might mix it up a bit then by sometimes doing pinch grip, farmers, hang from bar and so forth.

Hook grip and chalk, the rest takes care of itself with time

Grippers are for crush strength. You need to work on support grip for deadlift.

I recommend dumbbell farmers walk as it simulate the bar rolling out of your hand.

FatGripz works if your dumbbell doesn't get heavy enough. If not, you can do deadlift holds.

Consider doing hook grip with 1RM, because the ganlion tendion reflex stop you from lifting heavy weight when the grip is weak.

A method I learned from an interview with a strongman competitor is to take a bath towel get it soaking wet then wring the shit out of it, repeat 15 times every day. I did that for a while and it works, currently pulling 4 plates for reps overhand tho I still need chalk for my sweaty hands.
