So /fit/, I've been eating properly and hitting my macros, but I have only been eatinh fish and beef in terms of meats. Will I see improvement in my gains if I switch from beef to chicken? Is one healthier and why? Generally would like to know. Thanks /fit/.

So I've been working out for a year and a half now, the last 6 months I've been hitting the gym every single day with my gym bro. We do about 5 exercises for the main muscle we're working with 4 sets per exercise (not including warmups) and switch the order that we workout the muscles from week to week.

We've both seen good results as far as muscle growth goes, I'm just wondering if this is optimal. Since it takes about 48 for a muscle group to recover, I don't see why it wouldn't be, but who knows

I have been reading about muscle fibers and understood that that all of then are activated when doing per example powerlifting where all fibers are activated but from what I understood not all muscle fibers will be exhausted so for complete fitness should I do something after a powerlifting session with very high repetitions and very little weight?

this might seem unrelated at first but i don't think it is. i was watching the new twin peaks tonight, and i noticed something about one of the female characters. she was very attractive physically, but more than that, it's almost as if the director had made her turn up all of her mannerisms to maximum levels of sexiness. the way she walked, moved, talked, and even her facial expressions were all extremely sexy.

this made me realize that even more than looks or personality, the way a woman carries herself makes a huge difference in how attractive she is to me.

so we are all here and in the gym trying to get big and strong, and hopefully even better looking to attract women right? but after we get that /hotbod/ what about how we carry ourselves?

i can immediately point out "sexy" mannerisms with women, but not at all with men. all i know how to do is walk with very straight posture and talk in a deep, clear voice. but what else do women find sexy in men? how do i achieve maximum levels of sexiness after making all these gains /fit/?

(hopefully some femanons can comment itt)

I didn't ask what this ""trainer"" was assessing this guy for, presumably some sort of sports club, but what's this shit about leg press being a better indicator of overall strength?

Is the leg press machine good for literally anything at all? I've never even used one.

how are these lifts so far /fit/, I've been lifting for about 3 months, height 6'2" and bw 192 lbs

>squat 155 lbs (had to take a break from it because of unrelated knee injury)
>bench press 135 lbs
>deadlift 215 lbs
>ohp 85 lbs
>barbell row 90 lbs

Doing SL 5x5 at the moment, should I switch to a different routine soon?

I started with the bar on all except for deadlifts, I started with about 115 on that.

I've also had pretty bad depression that's been affecting my lifts as well, but I've been on track again with the routine for the past three weeks.

As long as you're continually progressing on your movements then keep going at your program. If not, it's time for some hypertrophy training to build muscle so you can continue to build strength.

I drove by a yard sale and saw a used wheelchair. A lot of Paralympic Athletes are jacked. Would you consider buying one to use around your neighborhood? It would also be good if you hurt your knee or back and need to exercise.
