Red pill me on sucralose /fit/.
It gives you cancer.
It's sugar, but absurdly sweet.
Also may or may not kill you.

>It gives you cancer.
Yep, flat out. Just eat regular sugar but in moderation.

Why don't Ameritards use real measurement units
>measuring height in FEET
>month day year
Hi /fit/izens, do you listen to podcasts when you work out? If so what are they called and what are they about?
>this dude
a lot of fitness and nutrition, required for the semi-intellectual meathead
Freakonomics also do a bit of /fit/-related podcasts
Daily Reminder that you should use a full thumb-around grip for The Press® too.
If you think a thumbless grip is better, you're memeing yourself.
>The thumbless grip is never used when pressing, not because of the danger – which is obviously not there when the bar can be dropped to the floor. Rather, the thumbs-around grip permits the “squeeze” in the forearms that increases the tightness of the muscles, making the drive from the start position more efficient and increasing motor unit recruitment throughout the arms and upper body.
>[italic]Except for the squat, there is no thumbless grip in barbell training.[/italic]
Li Ching Yuen
This guy lived of herbs and rice wine. Did martial arts every day. Trained the chinese army and was a tactical advisor. Reached 256 years. Claimed to knew some 500 year old hermit that teached him how to mix herbs.
I dont know if this shit is real, but how do you reach such a long life span? is it possible?
Probably folk lore that he lived that long. It makes sense you can get to a fairly old age off herbs, rice wine and martial arts, but not 256 years. Also I reckon he had very low stress and was not overly muscular which all help.
>>41771801
No. Maximum genetic age of all human's is 140.
>>41771801
No he was a lying chink
>be me, about 19 hours ago
>working out
>Feeling good about myself and my body lately
>Decide to bump everything up 5 reps each
>finish workout, feeling pumped/nauseated
>Down 3 glasses of water in 30 seconds tops
>feeling dizzy
>Getting dizzier
>Things are going black, I start to fall
>Don't even feel myself hit the ground, just appear there
>Look at the clock a split second, it's 4 hours later
>Everything hurts especially my head, feel like I have a hernia
>vomit and plop my head in vomit
>wake up in vomit 30 minutes ago
>feel like I just woke up from a really nice nap, tired but refreshed
Medfags explain how my body recovered from a near death experience to feeling healthier than ever???
Maybe you just have a vomit fetish that you never knew about

I'd suggest you go to an emergency clinic asap.
You've probably got a brain tumour or some shit.
>>41771734
Probs hypoglycemia or you worked out with empty stomach. Eat a spoon of sugar before passing out and you ll fine.

Weight loss feels fucking impossible what do I do? I've STRUGGLED to lose 3 lbs in damn near a month...which is NOT normal because I'm fat as fuck.

why aren't you making home made equipment now?
tfw skinnyfat and everything I do is negated by my intake
>20, 245 lbs, 6'4"
>job requires a lot of physical work every day, heavy lifting, etc.
>run occasionally
>still manage to eat more than my daily limit (1800 cals)
>eat mostly healthy in the day then binge at night
How do I beat these urges? I've tried low calorie substitutes and I already drink a lot of water. It seems the harder I try the worse it gets.
>>41771634
Meal prep. This is key to controlling urges.
Don't buy shit foods. Don't go to the store when you are hungry.
Keep fruits and other lower calorie things to snack on.
Drink more water, particularly when you start wanting to eat shit.
>>41771634
Oats, they keep you full all day
>>41771670
>Don't go to the store when you are hungry.
this is number fucking one. Binge purchases are always because you're hungry. Go when you're full as fuck and go straight for the shit you need.
Is DOMS a sign of overtraining?
I don't get any soreness when training heavy with low reps.
If I'm training for hypertrophy and get DOMS, sometimes a few hours after the workout, am I going too heavy?
Also I'm on a cut so should I be doing strength or hypertrophy to maintain,
>>41771612
Its a sign of your body reacting to a new level of intensity/volume/movements. It has nothing to do with progress, or if you're working hard enough or not. For example I never get serious DOMS from lifting anymore despite squatting 3.5plate and deadlifting 5.5plate.
But I got bad leg DOMS from going out skateboarding for the first time in years recently.
Strength first, when cutting. You can't expect to grow, and training specifically for it will just sap the energy you have.
>>41771632
Is there any strength programs that work at higher frequency, preferably 5+ days?
Could I do ICF 5x5 for 5 days a week?
I got so used to doing a PPL 6 days a week in college that going doing to 3 days is very boring.
>>41771612
nope sign of not eating enough or low frequency
The price we pay for beauty. Helped clear my acne scars. Dont know the long term benefits of doing this. might slow down aging skin due to increased collagen production. Thoughts?
I have some scars on my legs I'd like to diminish. Will use it on limbs for testing before I ever put one near my face.
would it work for stretchmarks on my back?
Got them from growing too fast and being dehydrated

What is this shit and why does it look like you're trying to meme people into using a medieval torture device?
