>shoulder injury still stalling my bench press gains almost 6 months afterward

Dude chest comes from humeral adduction. Pressing motions do not utilize pecs as prime mover.

you're welcome
I started getting minor shoulder pain. switched flat bb bench to incline db bench and OHP to standing db shoulder press. I kept close grip bench because it never bothers my shoulder. Shoulder pain disappeared quickly. I do miss bench though. plan on mixing it back in to my workouts soon
Are there ANY pre workouts around that don't taste like vomit?

Started channeling my depression into running, working out and eating less. No one told me it was ever that easy

Enjoy your first week.

week number 3 starting today
>>42339964
I'm in a similar situation and I'm at month 3 of gymming and month 1 of working.. Workouts and running aren't something that requires burning motivation, they're just things I do. The pettiness of wanting to succeed for the sake of rubbing it in peoples faces helps, but it's mostly just getting on with it because depression NEETing is a lot worse.
Straight to the point: my man boobs. They're not all that big, as a matter of fact idk how big they really are since i'm, as most man boobed guys are, also fat. I've lost quite a bit of weight this year (from a little over 90kg down to 70kg, and that's a lot, especially of you take into consideration the fact that i stand a laughable 1.73m tall) and, naturally, my tits have shrunk, but my nipples are still rather puffy (although pretty small) and pointy and I can also feel that dreaded 'lump' beneath them (the lump doesn't hurt when pressed, though, as i know it does on some dudes), so I'm pretty sure it's gyno... Perhaps it should be mentioned that all that weight was lost (and still is) by means of cardio (running) and starvation (it feels like starvation, but in reality i kinda chnaged my diet and al so now it'sa lot better and cleaner than it was 1 year ago), so i gained no muscle during this time. The fact that I'm still fat at a bmi of 23.(3) indicates that i'm skinny fat, which might be true as I've never really done any sport, ever (no idea about my bf%, but it's definitely higher than normal). Now, i know that gyno comes from too much estrogen, whose high levels should come as no surprise since my bmi used to be higher than 30. However I don't feel i'm doing too bad in the testosterone department: my voice is ok in terms of depth, i'm very hairy, back and shoulders included, i basically have a little carpet running from my chest to my ankles and my apparent whimpiness is the result of me doing no exercise until i was 18 (i'm 19 now). As of recently I started doing some chest workouts just to see if getting it bigger would diminish the problem and i'm obviously continuing to starve myself in order to lose fat.
The question is: could this, coupled with eating things with vitamin D and Zn in them in order to increase testosterone and decrease estrogen at least make my moobs smaller (and i mean strictly the gyno) or should i go straight to the surgeon?
Aromasin and Nolvadex or clomid for 5 weeks, then Letrozole, then surgery if none of these work.
Vitamins? This nigga.

stop lifting and start running.
it won't be okay unless you put effort into it
you will need to earn feeling okay

Final 3 days of this cut and I'm pretty close to my cardio goal for the last 3 weeks of my diet and this Tropical storm pops up out of nowhere.
Do I just say screw it and go do my cardio? or do I throw in the towel here.
What would you guys do in this scenario?
Move somewhere less shit.

cardio gods are testing you, bro. go do your cardio anyway, do or die. it'll be a good test boost

This is also true.
I mean I'm not going to find myself in this position again for a long time and it'd be a milestone for me.
I've ridden 580 miles so far. If I can do 40 miles per day for the next 3 days, (Wednesday is my final day; since I started this on a Thursday), I'll have rode my bicycle 700 miles in a 21 day period.
and I haven't skipped a single gym day in the process

Anyone else on /fit/ climb?
Climbing general thread.
I boulder, around a v4/5, been doing it for a year and a half now. The forearm gains are seriously insane, and it's honestly so much more fun than just straight lifting. I love having a sport to use as my workout (although I do lift as well so that I don't end up looking like Popeye).
>>42339679
This will be year 11 for me. Crag or gym? Also what region
Was a big climber until I moved to smalltown midwest for work.I miss it so much, senpai. Never give it up.
Yes but only do sport now. Haven't led trad in a long time and don't have a rack.
Did my first lead on trad at the Gunks though. Second pitch, already 100 feet of the deck on the first move, overhung (since it's the Gunks and even 5.5 is overhung).
Almost shit myself.
DYEL and 5 7 here. I'm planning to start school as a freshman next moneth and lift weights. How does it feel to be a manlet in university?
Literally nobody cares, get a good program and eat right. You can't fix your height, so don't concentrate on it.

i'm running nsuns 5/3/1 (5-day) and i'm finding the major deadlift day, which involves consecutive sets of:
warm-up sets
5x75%
3x85%
1+x95%
3x90%
3x85%
3x80%
3x75%
3x70%
3+x65%
where all percentages are of a training maximum. i can cope with the volume, but it takes far too long given the amount of rest i feel i need to take
does anyone have any better ideas for how to structure my programming for deadlifts? (1RM of 165kg @ ~80kg, by the way.)
sorry, that was barely grammatical. meant to write: "i'm running nsuns 5/3/1 (5-day). the major deadlift day involves consecutive sets of:" etc.

ull have long workouts just deal with it
pls. does anyone have experience with Magnusson/Ortmayer (Mag-Ort), or Coan/Philippi, or anything else that can be plugged-in?
