I'm looking at buying my first protein powder and I need some advice.
Short summary of my situation
>Haven't a lot of money
>No fridge so therefore no milk
>Looking for a powder that is preferably a whey/casein mix
>Don't really care about what percentage is protein or not as I'm already not eating much anyway

For the past few weeks I have fallen into a really bad habit.
I will eat good for a whole week, I'm talking no junk food/soda or anything and at one point of the week ill go out with friends or even just by myself ill eat an ungodly amount of junk food.
And Im not talking like "oh I had 3 cookies instead of the one that I planned". Looking around me at the wrappers I have now, its
-1 dozen donuts
-2 (family size) bags of chips
-4 cans of salsa
-1 2 liter of Diet Coke
-1 small milkshake
-Chic-Fil-A sandwich wrapper.
This Friday/weekend celebration is absolutely ruining any progress I made through the week.
It happens before I realize. Is there anything I can do beside simply "not doing it". At this point it feels like an addiction.
Junk food is easy to binge on.
Stop buying junk food.
Don't keep anything besides meat and vegetables around the house.
Eat 1-2lbs of veggies everyday, mostly broccoli/carrots.

Intermittent fasting with small feeding window, 20-4.
And fast for 2 to 3 days, longer if you're able, drink water and take your vitamins and minerals, break the fast with yogurt, veggies and meat.
Repeat until cravings go away, and they will.

So I've accepted that losing weight and getting fit and healthy takes a whole lot more than just a few weeks of exercising but takes a lifestyle change. My issue is motivation. How do you motivate yourself to work out everyday? I've been doing it for a few weeks, and I've started to see results and I feel great but I'm far from enjoying it, and it takes a lot of willpower to get started and push myself everyday. Some people enjoy the process and I wish I would too. I use that time to catch up on shows or enjoy music but it's still a trudge. I have anxiety and am being medicated, fatigue is a huge issue even with medication (tried a few different types/docs, still same issue). What keeps you going, /fit/?
My goal is not to bulk or cut, just get healthier and eat right. I have a set of free weights, adjustable bench and rack, and a couple of other equipment.

I am in mental anguish so sleep is a peace I rarely experience anymore, it does affect my gains but I picked up some stuff from the vitamin area in my local store than helps ease anxiety or tension, it helps a little so maybe try that OP.
What do I need to do to not feel dead after working out?
