how do I sneak food out the chinese bufett
I still don't understand these threads.
Put it in your pockets. Duh
I use a fanny pack.
Do you pour the milk then the cereals or do you pour the cereals then the milk first?
I don't eat sugar bits with cow lactose because I'm not a toddler anymore

What's the strongest and cheapest drink I can get at most bars? I've heard grateful dead would fit this description but not sure. Having multiple options would nice as well.
Long Island iced tea
I love me an irish car bomb grenade style. Not necessarily cheapest but if you a light weight its worth the couple extra bucks
I only consume a small amount of milk, a splash of skimmed twice a day in a cup of tea. I want to start eating cereal/porridge again but I keep hearing milk is bad. What are some good milk alternatives (soy, almond etc.) that you would recommend? Why is milk becoming something people avoid? Any scientific evidence?

I drink several glasses of milk with every single meal--no exceptions. (even sushi)

OP here. This thread is dead and I hate it so please please please nobody post here!!!!
GOMAD
Hi /ck/.
I was wondering if any of you have ever had anorexia and had to recover.
I have recently been on the stretch to recovery. I am trying many things to make myself healthy and to eat more food.
For example, I have today gone through various thread in the catalogue as of 1458 hours GMT and created a nutritional label for them. I have rated the best threads as the most nutritious, and the shitposting threads the least. This encourages me to know that nutritious things can be good and makes me more likely to eat.
Pic related - ,y day so far. Its helping me, so I encourage other sufferers to do this too.

>the last one is 0 calories but 250g of salt
solid post OP. I liked it a lot.
I got anorexia from reading /ck/. I kept reading about fast food and eventually it made me feel really self conscious. One day I was reading a fucking McChicken Sandwich thread and had a breakdown and had 30 calories in the next 4 days and I have lost 30lbs since.
do you ask for butter on your movie theater popcorn?
>>8095844
No, I ask for it on my crab legs.
>>8095844
Fuck yes, I do.
I don't go to the movie theater often, so when I do, I don't skimp on the popcorn. I ask for butter and then I also use those flavorings they have at the condiment bar.
If I ate popcorn more often, I'd probably be more restrained, but I pretty much only eat it at the theater, so fuck it, I'm going all out.
>>8095844
It's flavored coconut oil at Marcus Theaters.
Even knowing that I won't get it. Or theater popcorn. I hate movie theater popcorn after working concessions for like a year. Got free popcorn every shift and had to think of new shit to bring in to mix with it because I got so burnt out on it.
I prefer the bagged shit at supermarkets
What's the verdict?

Gonna walk over to Chinatown for lunch in a few hours. Thinking of getting a pork bun or hand pulled noodles.
Any suggestions?
Those both sound bangin'. Stick with those?

Consider soup dumplings, the temp outside has gone down a bit.

Can eating on a smaller plate really help you lose weight? My friend is doing this and I don't get it.
It probably works if smaller portions leads to you eating slower, but seems like a gimmick that gets circumvented easily.
>>8095734
I would think the theory is that some people might be conditioned to serve themselves so much food that it covers the plate completely. If someone does that then using smaller plates would mean less food would be served.
But all of that hinges on the "fill up your plate" serving strategy. If someone does it differently then it wouldn't matter at all.
>>8095734
My mom also does this but she sometimes goes back for more because she's not full. I think it's more of a visual brain trick or something. Idk.

I want to make some empanadas today. What are some creative filling ideas/combinations?
>>8095703
I've never had a banana empanada before
>>8095706
I'm actually thinking of incorporating sweet plantains in with a savory filling, or I've also seen recipes where mashed sweet plantains are used as the dough.
Can't make up my mind, probably going to experiment with a lot today. Going for savory fillings over desserts though.
Pls share your empanadas.
Ok, look at the image.
Could anyone from the Eastern united states identify this?
If you don't know it's called a pawpaw and before I got bored one day and looked around for native fruits and vegitables, I had no idea either.
And I still haven't eaten it.
So this thread is for discussing and discovering fruits and vegetables in your nation you might not have heard of.
There's an apple tree in my backyard
I found OP in /ck/, I don't think I will eat it though.
>>8095668
I work produce on the east coast, and just the other day a woman brought in a couple of these paw paws that she had picked herself. She started telling me about how Thomas Jefferson had a paw paw tree and that it isn't normally stocked in grocery stores because of its short shelf life. I tried it, and it was really custardy, and a little sweet. Then the next day a couple comes in asking for fucking paw paws. And now I see this thread. The fuck is going on. Apparently they're also working on a more shelf stable paw paw.
