For me it's a hobby I enjoy. My job is something creative that used to be my love. Now it's my job. So I needed something kind of creative to fill the void left by turning my passion into a career. Cooking was it. I enjoy spending hours a day thinking about what I'm gonna cook and making it.

Time isn't an issue because most days I have the time to cook. When I don't I go out to eat, or get delivery. I do the same when inspiration doesn't hit me, but it does most days.

It helps that I have a wife who really appreciates my cooking. So even when it's a little bit of a hassle my efforts are appreciated.

As far as money goes, if I wanted to get food as good as what I cook at home at a restaurant on a daily basis it would be very expensive.

This is the only thing I drink anymore, besides a cup of coffee in the morning.

Last night the shit was fucking advertised in my dream.
I was back in college at weird 80s theme/halloween party with tons of people, having fun and doing weird dream stuff.. when suddenly all the weird dream stuff stopped, all the beer disappeared, and cans of La Croix started showing up everywhere and that's all anyone would talk about. Then this fucker actually came in with a forklift caring a whole pallet of the stuff in every flavor while everyone just ran over to grab one.

I woke up very thirsty.

I get the same if I eat any fibre in any quantity. Even small. In fact, the only time I ever poop properly and feel good is if I eat ONLY lean protein for a few days. Makes no sense but there ya go.
