I don't think Italian cheese is at all worthy of topspot. They have one decent cheese and that's it.
Britain also has more variety of Cheeses than France Having said that; I will put France and Britain as joint first.

Hey, /ck/. Before my final exam in my Spanish course at my university I have the opportunity to cook something from a Spanish-speaking country (doesn't have to be enough for the entire class). All I have to do is talk about it and its history and shit.
What is something I can cook that is cheap and easy? Preferably something I can bake.
Pic not very related.

What the fuck is wrong with Portugal?

Used to live on these bad boys. Now they changed them to use plastic bottles.

I miss alcohol...
Homemade butter. You guys. If you're eating margarine you're wrong. This shit is superior in every way. Plus you get buttermilk from it. Slightly less cost effective than buying it outright, but I think the buttermilk you get makes it worth it.
You're kidding, right?
Buy a quality European butter, but making it yourself is wasted work. If that's your hobby, then fine. Maybe you live on a dairy farm or something.
>>8314763
I agree totally. 1 pint of heavy cream mixed on high with my kitchenaid for 10 minutes. Result? Great butter and buttermilk. I use local, grassfed cream. Really outstanding stuff. Almost like a soft cheese.

You're an idiot. Butter is butter.
I want to be red pilled on tea.
I love tea more than anything but I never focused on the ancient Chinese tradition of Gongfu sets, I want to know the true taste of tea from the most sophisticated plantations.
How do I become a master of tea?
Also /tea/ general.
This is a tea master.

I thought you wanted to be a tea master?
If you don't have patience for that, you might as well stay unenlightened.
I didn't see a stupid questions thread so here.
a while ago i made some frozen walmart meatballs, then got sick before i could eat them or put the bag away. the bag was on the counter for about 5-6 hours and the meatballs were soft when i checked.
Should i throw them away and buy more, or are they still safe to eat?
>>8317271

This was the first Thanksgiving I haven't worked in the past 5 years and I honestly missed getting overtime for standing around doing nothing.

Anyone have a good recipe for grill-less ribs?
I want to cook ribs but don't own a grill, and wouldn't be able to use one around my apartment complex anyways
Pic unrelated, pizza I made last week
oven bake your ribs, you dipshit.
>>8316534
Or use the broiler. It's just an upside down grill.
>>8316541
Broiler, Ribs.
Ribs need to be slow cooked at a low temperature.
Oven at 280 degrees F for 3 to 5 hours.
I made eggnog a week ago today and I still have some left. I did cook the egg mixture and it is about 1/5 80 proof rum. Can I drink this or should I pour it out?
Call cx service
>>8316411
Here in Germany we make a similar drink called "Eierlikör". It's made out of raw eggs and contains about 20% alc. Because of the alcohol it's durable for years.
Your eggnogs contains about 1/5 * 80%=16% alc. So I guess it will also be drinkable for weeks.
Just go for it. At that age even if it is bad worse that will happen is you'll have a really satisfying shit.
I found a big piece of metal in my Chinese food but don't want to complain because the food is so good.
Should I report it? I don't want them to refuse me orders in the future.
>>8316381

>>8316381
>I don't want them to refuse me orders in the future.
complain and you'll get the special sauce in your next order
If you accidentally ate that, is it gonna come out in your shit or are you going to have huge problems?
post your /ck/-related opinions
I think you should be able to refuse service to vegans outright.
I think Crisco, MSG, soy, and GMOs get an unnecessarily extreme bad rap due to misinformed or ignorant masses. Margarine's reputation, however, has been repeatedly proven to be deserved.
I think cheesecake is unbearably rich without some kind of berry sauce to lighten it.
I think cooking with your spouse is one of the best feelings in the world, especially for their family, and especially especially if the family eagerly expects your good cooking. The praise after is good, too.
'roit 'za > 'go 'za > 'ork 'za

Vegans should be fed alive to wild animals
>>8316288
>I think you should be able to refuse service to vegans outright.
Easy, just don't offer vegan options.
