It's Sunday, what have you cooked today /ck/?
I woke up early this morning and wanted some pancakes but realized my milk was expired and couldn't be assed to go out and get some more. I ended up making some lunches for the week while the clothes were in the laundry.
It's basic chicken, onions, peppers and mushrooms with steam rice. I'm trying to lose weight and this will keep me fed for lunch til Wednesday. Not in the picture are the hard boiled eggs I also plan to pack for snacks/breakfast (my shift is basically 12 hours long). All in all, it took about 40 minutes to do and I'm curious if anyone has any good ideas for meal prep like this that can last a few days without tasting like ass when I reheat it.

Chips and homemade salsa and lamb stew.
Also - if your milk is a bit expired, it's probably all the better for baking.

>hearty pasta sauces like bolognese
>green thai curry
>any kind of stew really (use lean meat, onions and vegetables that can stand some heat)

My next kitchen purchase is going to be a slow cooker. Probably after the holidays but I'm trying to stick to healthy dieting meals so that bolognese is out of the questions.
Christ, either I suck at cooking or /ck/ doesn't meal prep. This thread is deader than my virginity

Looks tasty anon!
I had no groceries but had to cook with the little ingredients I had today:
Breakfast:
Sweated onions in peanut oil on low heat, added leftover rice from last night and some eggs, cooked for a bit with some soy sauce and pepper for a fluffy fried rice breakfast.
Lunch: A PC honey ham and PC hard salami sandwich on cheap white wheat bread.
Dinner: Making rice (Boton), will eat some tonght with some leftover chili if I'm hungry, and will use what's left to make some onigiri for lunch tomorrow.
For advic eon your meal prep: Make big dishes like chili, spaghetti, rice, tacos, lentil soup, etc. and save the leftovers. Find a recipie, do it 5x or so, and just keep practicing until you can put your own variation on it or feel comftorable substituting other ingredients. Work on basics like what you have in your picture and start adding/substituting ingredients or combining other dishes.
