Does /ck/ like foie gras?

I bought some to try out myself, with a baguette and some fig jam.

While the fat that came off of frying it was fucking amazing, the actual liver itself tasted really strong.

Foie gras is amazing if prepared well

Salt and butter and something acidic as a accompaniment to contrast the fat

Recently tried it for the first time. I like braunschweiger, liverwurst, and chicken livers when prepared correctly, but the liver taste was too strong. Maybe I needed something more than just spreading it on a cracker.

Umm doesn't that kill the duck...

I tried it once, and it was okay-ish. The gavage used to get it kinda bothers me though, so I won't personally buy it
