I didn't see a stupid questions thread so here.
a while ago i made some frozen walmart meatballs, then got sick before i could eat them or put the bag away. the bag was on the counter for about 5-6 hours and the meatballs were soft when i checked.
Should i throw them away and buy more, or are they still safe to eat?

It takes E. coli two hours to double in population. Just cook them thoroughly. You'll be fine. Your ancestors literally ate rotten food.
Would you eat pizza that had been left in a box on the counter overnight? Of course. The sausage on the pizza is no different.
