steam for about 10 minutes, take out and immediately get into ice bath, reduce time for soft boiled, increase for hard boiled.

How do you eat burritos without them falling the fuck apart?
Maybe it's what I order....it is from an actual burrito place, and people eat them without them falling apart around me. I think I get too much sauces. Should I get them double wrapped with a tortilla?
I get it on white bread with
>lots of refried bean and cheese
>lots of green onions
>burrito sauce
>burrito spice
>lots of sour cream
>guac
The burrito is usually a couple of inches thick and about 8 inches long. Please, no jokes about me explaining the burrito length.
How do I eat them without them falling apart? I want to be able to walk around and eat them, but it is just to messy.

Instead of ordering one large burrito with all those beans, guacamole, and sour cream, consider ordering two separate burritos with half the amount of all that in them.
>amazing food
>5 star service
>fantastic atmosphere
>hubby and I were stuffed!
>unfortunately we had to park in a dark alley
>1/5 stars, disappointing.
There's some people that just come in to fuck up your day. Their dining experience can be perfect but they'll find something to bitch about to try and make others as miserable as them.

The ones that piss me off the most are when a reviewer states they've been to a place many times before and had good experiences but because one bad thing happened on their most recent visit, they give a low rating.
I've gotten food poisoning three times from here but it's pretty decent.

Interesting read, I don't exactly agree with everything in the article but it was interesting nonetheless.

Banh mi: do you prefer one with cold cuts like pic related, or with bbq pork? Or perhaps something else? Egg or no egg? Chinese or Vietnamese bbq pork? If you're getting it to go with hot meat, do you ask for the veggies in a little plastic bag on the side so they don't lost their crispness?

Vietnamese is the best Asian cuisine. Due to the French occupation, their food is delicious tropical ingredients prepared with classical French techniques.

What I like to do when I buy many of my vegetables is to cut them up into slices and then freeze them in freezer bags. That's so the vegetables will not only last a whole lot longer but I can also skip a step in preparing my meal. I can just dump the cut up vegetables in my pan and save time when cooking.
As for the chicken, most grocery stores sell premade rotisserie chicken for about $4-7 dollars for the whole chicken. If you live on your own the rotisserie chicken should last for a few days. You can cut up leftovers to use for a sandwich or stir fry.

okay guys how do i into beer. i have been drinking spirits and wine for a long time but the only beer I've had was light beer which tasted like swill. The only places near me I can buy beer are Fred Meyer and BevMo. give me recommendations. I'm not too into bitter flavors.
sorry for burger pic too lazy to get a picture of beer on my phone tbqh
>>8429927
Go for a Belgian ale, a Czech pilsner, a German lager, or a German weissbier. There are American breweries that make those styles, but a lot of times they add way too much hops because they suck. If you're buying imported, make sure you get dark bottles, or, even better, bottles covered in foil. This prevents the beer from skunking during transport.
>>8429927
Buy sampler packs. Gets you a good variety, and if you don't like a type you at most get only 3 of it. Avoid any kind of pale ale if you don't like bitter. Try dark beer, porter specifically.
Cook with what you don't drink. (ipas are terrible but they still make great beer batter).

>will happily consume fish because it's 'not an animal'
>mfw
I get there there are different levels, but how the everliving fuck do you not classify fish as an animal? They've got brains, spinal cords, organs-fuck man, they're one of the categories in the animals kingdom.
And on a related note, how do you adjust your cooking for your vegetarian and other people with certain diet restrictions, especially at events where there are plenty of others who don't have said restrictions? I work with a college program that takes students out on excursions in the wilderness, and lately, our de facto pancakes and scrambled eggs is running into difficulties with all the international students and their dietary restrictions. I've been using shakshuka, but I'd like some more (cheap) recipes to throw under my belt.
>>8429768
Just bring granola bars for the picky fags who are too speshul to eat the same food as everyone else.
>>8429768
The only vegetarian I know just doesn't like the taste of red meat.
Pretty understandable.
>>8429768
Last time I checked, fish can't process pain, whereas red meat animals and poultry can. Likely not the reason for the fish and bird egg exceptions they have, but a reason nonetheless
