Has anyone eaten at Trump Steaks?
Extremely Greasy
No. I only eat Kobe beef.
Why would anyone want to eat mediocre meat that's horribly overpriced?
WRONG. MAJOR LOSER. HUGE MISTAKE. SAD.
I just started watching the Brothers Green channel on YouTube. I found out they apparently have a MTV show, so there is probably a mainstream backlash here, and I don't care for their style at times. However, they seem to have some solid ideas, and I've never seen them discussed here.
What does /ck/ think of the Brothers Green? What other little discussed YT channels do you watch?
>pls no Jack or Joey
>>8440018
they are stoned as fuck.
>>8440036
Figured that's what the green stood for, and the reason MTV latched on to them, certainly wasn't the production value. Also, the skinny one is better than the fat one.

What's for dinner? Steaks and potatoes here with onions and shroomers.
Looks like ground beef to me.
>>8438998
They're hamburger steak.
>>8438998
In America we have what's called, "cubed steak". It's a cut meat that's basically been aerated with a tenderiser until it's almost ground beef. Usually it's coated in seasoned flour and fried in a pan, served just like in the op, but with white gravy on occasion
Hey /ck/, I moved into my apartment for uni and I need to get some spices, any sites/stores where I can buy them for cheap?
Asians know

>any sites/stores where I can buy them for cheap?
Dollar stores carry $1 spices of course. Is it good for every spice? Nope. But, for many of them, there's a kind of loss on their part and deal for you, such as for bay leaves and some of the whole spices that last a long time.
In my groceries, there's a hispanic section for spices, and the Badia prices are fantastic. I regularly buy whole chilies, whole nutmeg, star anise, caraway, sesame seeds, their "jerk seasoning" is an awesome rub, jamaican style curry powder, saffron comes in a little plastic tin with about 5 servings for cheap, their "5 spice" is nice in chutneys and rubbed on spareribs or chicken wings. Their dried onion, and garlic is inexpensive in large containers for $2.
There are a couple of spices you have to shell out premium money for...real vanilla, and real cinnamon which can be toxic when fake (and often is indeed fake).
Don't overstock your spices. It's not so bad to buy 1-2 at a time when you're doing your other shopping. Only buy what you know you simply must have to do your breakfast, and usual dinner recipes. I also rotate my fresh herbs across several cuisines. I buy fresh cilantro and do mexican and vietnamese both that week. Basil goes thai and italian both.
Thoughts?

The mango variant tastes like ass.
Do you tip your cashier?
How about those awkward times when you're in line but have no items to buy? Do you tip then?
Why would you be in line if you have nothing to buy?
At the chain I worked at I couldn't accept tips or I'd be fired. I worked hard and tried my best but nope, if you take $5 from a tourist and don't put it in the charity box you are shitcanned
Now I work for an indie pharmacy and in the summer I got a few tips, often because I was cordial and women were reminded of their grandchildren or sons when they spoke to me. Probably just projecting, I dunno
Anyway no I don't tip the cashiers but I bag for the express lane warriors because $9.50 an hour after three years there fucking stinks
Is that Bill Cosby?
Rule number one is never get in line with a male cashier. Rule number two is to choose someone who appears to speak English.
Rule three is pick someone cute, if that's even an option.
If none of these is an option, just go for whoever looks competent, and make sure there no old people in front of you who intend to pay with a check or cash and exact change.
Has bubble tea gone too far?
>>8438556

I always try to eat the boba with each sip to make sure I run out of tea/boba at the same time.
I bet you eat your fries separate from your burger you piece of shit.
>>8438556
I had some at a Pha restaurant I got to called Pha Real, and the bubbles were extremely rubbery and tasteless, but the tea was pretty good. It was durian flavor
>>8438556
do you mean boba?
And yes. It went too far when it was invented. Its a stupid idea for stupid people. Why the fuck would I want to chew my tea?
