/ck/ laughed and laughed and laughed when I predicted in 2013 that Based Papa would be a billionaire in three years. sup now mofuggers?
http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielasirtori/2017/01/05/new-billionaire-how-papa-johns-ceo-john-schnatter-turned-pizza-into-ten-figure-fortune/
>offer outstanding quality
>hire locally
>offer fruit when asked
>dipping sauces free for all
Turns out I was right again. Papa John's will continue to dominate the American food scene!
Best pizza chain available in Canada imo
I'm gonna get one pretty soon, really close to my place (yuroop)
Is it any good? How does it compare to New York pizza and Domino's? New York pizza here is fine, a bit too fluffy for some, but I kinda like it. Domino's here is kinda cheap and average at best
The main reason he's a billionaire is because of Peyton Manning.
It's a fact: vegans are smug cunts.
That said, what are some reccommendations for delicious vegetarian meals (eggs and cheese allowed). I don't have a moral problem, so don't give me any of that
>Bacon is so delicious bro
I fucking know already. I'm just trying to save a few bob and lose a bit of weight. Shake things up a bit. Also, try not to reccommend overly egg-heavy dishes i.e. quiche, omelette.
Thanks lads.

Vegetarian food is for queers
>>8435646
Surely that's hot, hefty slabs of meat if anything
>>8435619
Check out the oh she glows blog. Gay as fuck name, easy and delicious as fuck recipes. Added bonus of being vegan.
Things you thought you'd never eat
But with a little dollores, you might..
50 quid to eat this?
Keep it rolling..
Done it for free. A live one. Tasted like... Raw potatoes. The texture is chewy and crunchy at the same time. Crunchy like... Aloe vera? But it doesnt break through as easily. Almost like... Nata de coco.
>>8435583
Sounds uhm...
Guess its bloody nutricious, otherwise people wouldnt eat em.
>>8435566
ate them fried, fucking delicious
wish I could get them from a food truck or something
Why do we put salt & pepper in most of our food?
Why not
>>8435136
They enhance flavor, every culture knows this.
>>8435148
So, you're saying most food needs enhanching?
Pick 5 things shown for me to incorporate into a meal.
will post results
>>8434979
guinness, hershey's syrup, rice a roni, ranch, and apple
Syrup
>>8434979
Beans, carrot, stop and shop pudding, pepsi, furikaki.
Do it.
Is this a meme? What makes it different than regular sea salt?
>>8434947
It tastes saltier to me. Not joking. It certainly does taste different in some way.
>>8434947
>>8434953
The idea with the Himalayan salt is it's unique impurities are somehow beneficial to health and taste
Yes, this is a meme, the hue is just a result of localized impurities, from where it is mined, IN FUCKING PAKISTAN.
Himalayan salt is chemically similar to table salt plus mineral impurities. It consists of 95-98% sodium chloride, 2-4% polyhalite (potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, oxygen, hydrogen), 0.01% fluoride, 0.01% iodine, and micro-amounts of numerous trace minerals
Numerous claims have been made concerning ingestion of himalayan salt, but there is no scientific evidence that proves it provides more health benefits compared to common table salt
It looks nice on your cupboard
Is ketchup a meal in itself?
>>8434261
No, you're a faggot though
>>8434261
yes
Could OP be a faggot? Could Mozart still be alive?
Did any of you grow up with instant ramen in the home?
My mom moved here from Japan in 1976, and our house always had cups and bags of instant ramen in the pantry. She preferred Maruchan, but bought Nissin too.
Back then, there weren't all the cheesy/Mexican/etc. flavors we have now - just chicken, beef, "Oriental", and maybe a couple of others. We also didn't have the bigger-package varieties that claim to simulate chow mein, yakisoba, etc. Just the basic cups and bags.
I also remember that the cup noodles included bits of dehydrated meat and egg. Most of them don't seem to anymore.
Tonight, I prepared a cup of Nissin, chicken flavor, and added a scrambled egg and a Sriracha drizzle (yeah, that sauce is trendy now, but remember that Asians and Asian immigrants have been using this stuff for decades).
What are your ramen memories?
In middle school we used to rush the noodles and pour the powder in the bag then shake it up and eat it raw as a snack because "it'll cook in our stomach". Couldn't imagine doing that nasty shit now.

Tell me more umami-kun
Yes.
For some very odd reason, top ramen began grossing me out and I became obsessed with these between ages 7 - 14.
I like to think they helped comfort me after my parents split up. I'd eat them as a snack and most definitely believe they helped me get fat during the late 90's.
The very last one I had, 15 years ago, made me vomit on the way to football (handegg) practice one Saturday morning. Never again.
Good morning, /ck/! I'm sure its morning somewhere. What did you have for breakfast and what's your favourite thing to have for breakfast?
>>8430534
Looks delicious. Add some hash browns, scramble those eggs instead of fried and it'd be perfect for me.
I didn't have anything for breakfast today. On weekdays I usually only have coffee but my local joint just jacked the price up 20 cents for their VIPs so I'm boycotting them in protest.
>>8430534
why are the english so bad at breakfast? almost feel sorry for you buckteeths
I'm gonna go get some 711 pizza and an energy drink
Does this board have low calorie recipes? I'm a very short girl (155cm) and my maintenance is 1200 calories so this is a life style not just a diet
>>8425562
>Portion control
I assume your trying to get /fit/ easy substitution for salads is use cottage cheese as a dressing. Eat what you like but keep the size in control. For tacos swap flour tortillas for corn flour=100-210 cal ea corn = 50 cal ea
For me, it is the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich.
>>8425562
why dont you just get a physically arduous job and or hobby so you can eat whatever you want?
>im too small
no youre just fucking lazy
Post coffee and coffee accessories!
What's a good water to coffee ratio?
I'm doing 1:25 and guessing the water temperature because I don't have a fancy kettle with temperature control.
It's very easy to screw up and make weak tea instead of coffee.
>>8415078
My favorite coffee accessory is a mug.
Hey OP, why not post in one of the other handful of coffee threads you flaming cock-juggling faggot?
>>8415085
I think the reason is (no, I know for sure) that the other thread, this one >>8397934 → has reached it's replies limit.
I'm not sure at what number of posts the thread is not coming up any more and stays on the bottom of the main /ck/ page.
At 300 posts or few more I think.
Others who understand that whole thing better than me might GIVE you better explanation...you flaming cock-juggling faggot.
Relax grasshopper relax lol
>>8415078
Is that an anime about baristas or something?
Dear /ck/
I happened to stumble upon some unwanted cookware.
Please explain what this pot is and what it does.
I can't into understanding what the function of the whole at the bottom is.
>>8437561
Please respond
>>8437561
good question op..
never saw something like this before... maybe to steam vegies?
>>8437561
Best guess is a steamer pot. It's supposed to sit on top of a pot of water.
Is this a healthy breakfast?
2 slice whole grain
4 whole egg
3 celery sticks
>>8437509
Well it's not unhealthy but it's shit.
>>8437528
What do u mean its shit. Doesn't it have the nutrients u need in a day? Its also easy to make.
Shit posting aside share your best advice when it comes to cooking. It can be anything from general tips, recipe specific or technique experiences.
>>8437095
For a uni-tasker, it sure is a good one.
No more need to peel garlic, no more garlicky fingers.
Buy a good knife early, learn to keep it sharp, dont dishwash anything sharp
>>8437101
ah these things are so nice.
here's my advice -- find a restaurant store near you and use that to buy equipment. much cheaper than most places and you'll get high quality and easy to clean stuff (look for the NSF logo for ease of cleaning).
most places give discounts to "member" restaurants so either think of a restaurant that's a member and lie or ask a restaurant near you if you can use their discount.
you pay out of pocket so unless you're gonna try to scam the store in a restaurant's name then it shouldn't bother them.
It's almost 3am, and I am craving potato chips. What do? Should I go to pic related?
>>8436989
No, you know where to go.
>>8436997
Ugh, but I know I'll end up there after a night of drinking this upcoming weekend. I don't want to eat there too often.
>>8437006
Because the staff might recognize you, right?
Do you also listen to audiobooks?
