what are some amazing things ONLY YOU do in kitchen?
me, i boil milk in electric water kettle
me, i boil milk in zojirushi water boiler
I pick my nose and flick it into the pan to see if its hot enough
i piss in my drinking glasses and rely on my dishwasher for cleaning them afterwards
I think its meh
i kno rite
I never really liked coleslaw, but it came as a side when I went to Zaxbys and gave it a try.
It was really fucking good.
Now sauerkraut, that's something I can't enjoy.
And I'm a kraut.
I only like it at KFC as a side to some extra crispy fried chicken.
Rate my ramen /ck/
You burnt the noodles. The onions look uncooked.
That's steak and eggs
disgusting
how do I cook without a kitchen?
>>8516110

Should I eat this lemon slice?
Yes.
>>8515548
Why would you even think about doing that?
It's too sour to eat!
>>8515554
OK thanks
Hi /ck/, I want to optimize my time for breakfast in the morning.
Currently it is oatmeal and microwaved eggs, and I feel it not sexy. I stopped cooking things like hashbrown or else in the frying pan because it takes forever to scrub the oil from it afrerward.
What do you eat for breakfast when you want something filling but economic in term of time?
I have a foreman grill in a designated grill tray so I never have to clean. It's also flat balanced so eggs don't roll off it. I put stuff on there and it cooks itself.
Also, kill yourself op.
>>8515338
This but forget the foreman grill stuff
>>8515360
kek
Does mozza' belong on a sandwich?
I don't see why not. There's better sandwich cheeses though.
>>8515295
sure if you melt it
the worst is when you buy a sandwich and it has frozen mozzarella on it
>>8515295
It's called Mootz
How can other fast food chains even compete?
That our food chains in Europe don't pump our food full of chemicals like in America. Not forgetting public heathcare of course.
>>8514175
Europe has fast food chains?
>>8514189
I didn't even know they could afford food.
tl;dr first: I'm new to CT, help me find the best doughnut shop around
>move to CT a few years ago
>stop living paycheck-to-paycheck and can finally afford treats/day trips to explore the State
>discover Faddy's doughnuts and fall in love
>go once every other month for a while
>suddenly, both their stores are nowhere to be found
>go at random times of the day, random days of the week, never there
>Their FB and website say they are open, but never answer their phone
>Pissed off ppl posting on their FB now
>Give up, come to /ck/ for help
I never ate doughnuts more than maybe once a year before, but Faddy's was really something else, like I never thought doughnuts could taste that great. Since they are clearly incapable of maintaining a regular business despite having a great product, I'm wondering if any CT anons can recommend a great doughnut shop in CT or MA (that actually has like, regular hours of operation).
RI is the doughnut capital of the country; more doughnut shops per capita than any other state.

>I'm fat and only the best shit food deserves a place in my ever expanding girth
>>8513726
I weigh 110 lbs. Is the concept of an occasional treat too complex for you wrap your head around?
Why does it seem like every other country hates us for eating this stuff? I can't speak for everyone I guess, but I homecook a lot of my stuff, and I also eat lots of veggies and mushrooms too.
We eat more than just processed fried crap you know. Why does it seem like we get picked on so much more than everyone else? Why are they so mean to us?
>"Oh, look at that burgerfat over there, I bet he eats nothing but burgers and chicken tenders all day long."
I can't be the only one who's sick of these blatant stereotypes. Not all Americans are morbidly obese hamplanets who stuff our faces. There are plenty of people here who eat a normal diet.
>>8512127
For ameriblubbers it is the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich.
>>8512127
Why dog you care about there opinion so much?
>>8512130

Hey dudes,
Who here's keto? I could use a few budget ideas and would love to hear what ya'll are eating.
I'm a month in, and have had fun with pecans, steak and thick-cut bacon for all meals -- but need to reign in my spending a bit if this is going to stick.

SLOW COOKER
I literally just made a bone in pork shoulder and before that cooked a shitload of chicken drumsticks i got for dirt cheap.
Also if you already arent eating eggs go all in. They are cheap as hell and have an excellent fat to protein ratio.
>>8512068
make sure you have good health insurance. kidney stones can be expensive.

Explain
Does your Work serve Food during Lunch break
Is that poop
>>8511985
Do Americans really do this? Like schools where your kids are force fed horrible processed garbage instead of making it the parents responsibility to send the kid to school with either lunch or some money to buy it?
>>8511990
No it was a "Donair"
>2017
>people are still stuffing their faces with GMO and IGF-1
>more and more young people getting colon cancer and many others
>lol it's probably just cell phones
>all those studies and research documents on veganism are fake
I don't know what those are but I sure enjoy burgers.
It's totally not because women are having kids at 40...
>>8511486
Agreed. Only people who are stupid regularly consume this shit. Once in a while if you want to be a fucking idiot it's probably not going to hurt you but if it's a habit, you might as well just blow your brains out for falling for stupid marketing.
>HOLY SHIT CHICKUN FRIES?
>GRAND MAC?
>TENDIES?
This fucking board is used by manchildren at least 70%
should i get a gas electric or induction stove top?
>>8511049
Yes
>>8511049
Gas is always better than electric, provided your house already has a gas line running to the kitchen.
I've got an induction plate since two years, takes some getting used to but I really love cooking on it.
Only downside is that we no longer use cast iron pans on it because the weight. If you drop it or lose control of it will shatter the entire induction glass plate.
But in my opinion definitely worth to get one.
Regional or local brews edition
