How do I get my wife to accept white bread again? Shortly after we were married, my wife decided to start buying whole wheat bread for "health reasons". I'm okay with whole wheat, but sometimes I just feel like having white bread instead. I recently bought a loaf of white instead of wheat when she sent me shopping today, and she became upset. She says it's "not as filling as whole wheat" (I disagree) and not as healthy. Now she's not talking to me. Is she right though?

I just ordered some pretty cool coffee beans from a brewery/roaster in San Diego. they weren't cheap so I'm wondering: what's the absolute best way to prepare these for maximum appreciation/enjoyment? I've got a french press, pour over, stovetop espresso, and drip.
temps/water:coffee ratios/time recommendations would be appreciated. the coffee is whiskey barrel aged if that makes a difference.

I'm hungry and I am a budgetboy. Last good meal I ate was a pork chop and some baked potatoes on friday. I'm going fucking skeleton and today my paycheck will arrive.
Critically I think I can cook but I am still making a few same shit over and over. All those spaghetti...you name it, carbonara, aglio ollio, bolognese, other pasta leftover shit I try to make taste good when there's nothing else in the pantry, shit with rice, beans, potato caserolles, all different kind of sauces...
I feel like I'm eating the same shit over and over again. Could you please give me some tip for a nutritious food that won't take more than hour to cook and will be kind of on the cheap side too?

Actually I do. Not Snickers but I prefer to eat 3 Musketeers. I eat at least 6/day with ice cream for dessert after my meals and sometimes an extra as a snack.
