I will be travelling across the United States soon and I want to try some obscure or regional potato chips.

If it helps I will be visiting California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts.

Damn. I don't know of any particularly local to my state chips anyway, but I do know of an obscure flavor that's probably popular in Maryland. Utz makes something they call crab chips. Chips seasoned with what is basically Old Bay. They're like crack, I can't stop eating them after I start. I've found them easily at grocery stores in NC, and I'd bet they're only more popular up in Maryland.

Alright, so I was going to make beef stroganoff, but I realized today that I don't have any beef stock, and going to the store soon is not an option. The rest of the ingredients will get used, but I need to find something to do with these 3 containers of mushrooms. Any good mushroom-centric dishes?
I have a pretty well-stocked pantry and freezer, other than the accidental lack of beef. Also, the mushrooms are pre-sliced, which ruins stuffed mushrooms as an idea.

All of your food now costs 3x as much as it did 20 years ago but food availability and production are way up while your wages remain the exact same as they have for 30 years.

I'm getting pissed the fuck off about it. I live on 4k a year and I only get to eat a meal every 3 days. I seriously have to move into a tent for the next 8 months so I don't die of starvation while on government benefits.

Don't know if you can find it where you live but meagre is one of my favorite fish. Just grill it with nothing other than salt, pepper and citrus and it's fucking delicious.

I love getting take-out at Chinese buffets. There's one near my college that charges $4 a pound, getting a lot of different food for $6 - $7 is great. Always leaves me full the rest of the day.

The Chinese assholes stare me down like some sort of gang when I go to panda express to fill a container.
Why the fuck do they do this? I'm a man and I'm paying by the pound, I will certainly fill my container with half steak and half chicken if I want to.

I stopped going because I don't need scrutiny over my choice of food. I'm 140 lbs and not very notable. I don't even want to sit down in there because the dumbass waitresses pretend not to speak English so they can charge you $2.50 per drink after offering free refills.
Fuck that, I make my own bell peppers and beef now, chink buffets are the pits.

The Chinese are like that everywhere. Seriously. They're swindlers who expect the same from everyone else. Next time you're at a Chinese buffet, watch the cashier when you're paying for your meal. If you're paying with cash, watch especially close. They don't close-out the drawer and they'll sternly inform you in broken English (as they crumble up your customer receipt) where the sauces and utensils are located, then pocket the money. Just a few years ago, a local Chinese place got shut down and the owners arrested for tax evasion. They skipped-out on over 1/2 million in taxes by doing exactly what I just described. It happens all the time.

God, one of the biggest life skills I've picked up is the ability to stop drinking when I'm drunk. It's fun being drunk but the "I can't fucking see straight, maybe I should puke now" has never, and will never be enjoyable.
