What do you call the nasty water that gets collected in turned over glasses and stuff inside the dishwasher? Asking for a friend.

That's which-dumbass-filled-the-dishwasher water.
I will be travelling across the United States soon and I want to try some obscure or regional potato chips.
If it helps I will be visiting California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts.
Obscure flavours of well known brands also accepted!
>>8736174
>tfw you live in North Carolina
Damn. I don't know of any particularly local to my state chips anyway, but I do know of an obscure flavor that's probably popular in Maryland. Utz makes something they call crab chips. Chips seasoned with what is basically Old Bay. They're like crack, I can't stop eating them after I start. I've found them easily at grocery stores in NC, and I'd bet they're only more popular up in Maryland.
I've been to Pennsylvania a few times and Middleswarth's are awesome. Great BBQ flavor
Alright, so I was going to make beef stroganoff, but I realized today that I don't have any beef stock, and going to the store soon is not an option. The rest of the ingredients will get used, but I need to find something to do with these 3 containers of mushrooms. Any good mushroom-centric dishes?
I have a pretty well-stocked pantry and freezer, other than the accidental lack of beef. Also, the mushrooms are pre-sliced, which ruins stuffed mushrooms as an idea.
just pan nice and hot them with butter until they caramelize

Mushroom soup seems like a good option.
do a pasta, maybe with some leeks, bacon and cream or something
a soup?
use them as a side dish if you have chicken or something
Made some homemade Mapo Tofu from scratch. Find a flaw.

What did you use the leftover Okara for?
>>8735842
Found a good place for it in the waste bin
based McD coke
Coca Cola is universally shitty because it's so goddamn acidic compared to other sodas. McDonalds should sell Pepsi products instead. At least then I'd be able to get a Mountain Dew with my McGangbang.
Post the link kid

They have a deal to get sweeter Coke, thats what the article says.
What did you make tonight?

anyone have good recipes for frozen pink salmon like pic related? it's cheap and good for you but imo too fishy to just grill, which is what I do with other salmon species
>too fish
Get a good brand then. One that IQF's closer to the catch. I've not had any problems with thawing them on a rack in the refrigerator out of the vacuum pack.
>>8735672
I dunno, I've had fresh pinks from the farmer's market before (I live in the pacific northwest) and I thought those were too fishy too, in addition to being like 3x as expensive as the frozen ones lol
>why does fish taste fishy
Gee, I dunno OP, maybe you were looking for frozen chicken instead.
When did fast food become so expensive? Like $8.50 for a value meal, really?
>>8735570
People are trying to meme inflation into existence.
All of your food now costs 3x as much as it did 20 years ago but food availability and production are way up while your wages remain the exact same as they have for 30 years.
I'm getting pissed the fuck off about it. I live on 4k a year and I only get to eat a meal every 3 days. I seriously have to move into a tent for the next 8 months so I don't die of starvation while on government benefits.
>>8735570
I know it's seriously f*****-up

>while your wages remain the exact same as they have for 30 years
You should really tell mommy to raise your allowance to keep up with the times.
What the fuck, /ck/? I thought that Irish were supposed to have good stouts. I'm drinking Guinness Extra Stout and it tastes like water.
If ya'll could recommend me some good stouts, l'd be real happy.
not guinness
The only stout you'll ever need.
I need some help /ck/
I want to replace my meat intake with fish but I'm picky when it comes to fish.
Any recommendations? Your favourite fish?
I like tuna and smoked salmon
>>8735326
I don't like cooked salmon or cod
>>8735326
Don't know if you can find it where you live but meagre is one of my favorite fish. Just grill it with nothing other than salt, pepper and citrus and it's fucking delicious.
>>8735326
try burbot, delicious springy meat
I love getting take-out at Chinese buffets. There's one near my college that charges $4 a pound, getting a lot of different food for $6 - $7 is great. Always leaves me full the rest of the day.
>>8735319
The Chinese assholes stare me down like some sort of gang when I go to panda express to fill a container.
Why the fuck do they do this? I'm a man and I'm paying by the pound, I will certainly fill my container with half steak and half chicken if I want to.
I stopped going because I don't need scrutiny over my choice of food. I'm 140 lbs and not very notable. I don't even want to sit down in there because the dumbass waitresses pretend not to speak English so they can charge you $2.50 per drink after offering free refills.
Fuck that, I make my own bell peppers and beef now, chink buffets are the pits.
>>8735366
The Chinese are like that everywhere. Seriously. They're swindlers who expect the same from everyone else. Next time you're at a Chinese buffet, watch the cashier when you're paying for your meal. If you're paying with cash, watch especially close. They don't close-out the drawer and they'll sternly inform you in broken English (as they crumble up your customer receipt) where the sauces and utensils are located, then pocket the money. Just a few years ago, a local Chinese place got shut down and the owners arrested for tax evasion. They skipped-out on over 1/2 million in taxes by doing exactly what I just described. It happens all the time.
The chop cheese
Prove me wrong, faggots.
Pro tip: you can't.
Sausage should be above steak and brisket

God, one of the biggest life skills I've picked up is the ability to stop drinking when I'm drunk. It's fun being drunk but the "I can't fucking see straight, maybe I should puke now" has never, and will never be enjoyable.
I mean, everyone knows this, but very few people actually stop drinking.
ITT post little cooking tips you've picked up over the years
>When cooking scrambled eggs, use a silicone spatula and keep mixing to make sure nothing sticks to the pan and doesn't get overcooked
Never flip meat when sauting. Cook on one side then put the pan in a hot oven until desired internal temp.

Who sautées meat?
Slice your garlic with a razor blade
Who's side are you on?

I've only had Quisp a couple times but I remember it being really good. Wish it was still around.
>>8734642
Quisp is pretty good. Never heard of the other one.
quisp is like something between a corn flake and a corn pop
