You have to bathe sphinx's weekly or so and clean out their earwax every 2 days
Devon Rex.
Moreso for their personality than looks which might be an acquired taste.

Say, if I were to throw this fish in just the right way, do you guys think I could get a couple skips off the water?
I've got several birds that come morning always return to my apartment window and peck at it until night. I was of the mind to get them to go away humanely, but my patience is wearing thin. Is there any way to get rid of these pests?
Get your neighbours to stop feeding them.

>>2333012
I was thinking of getting some hedgehogs they're just expensive here in the state's. Any tips on keeping them?

I'm putting meat out in my yard every day in hopes of attracting the coyotes into my home and catching one. They're the Eastern coyotes that are half wolf/dog after over a century of breeding. Can I tame it to be my sentinel?
Also can I become leader of the pack if they consistently see that I am their provider. I'm willing to also mate with females if that'll help me establish dominance.
sounds like one already got in and gave u rabies in ur brain
Every night they howl outside my bedroom window. They are only a few hundred yards away. I have taken to howling a response to establish communication. But tonight I stepped outside for a cigarette and one was strolling past and was not afraid of me. He must have known I was a friend. To make sure he was of my pack I let loose my most powerful howl to wish him luck on his hunt and he sprinted off into the woods as if he meant to say "we are two individuals but one pack, my brother". It was beautiful

Can dogs eat food cooked with onions (like rice) that have the onions removed, or is that still really bad for them?
>>2332496
How big is your dog, and how often will this happen? If it's a one time thing and he isn't a toy, it won't be an issue.
>>2332496
It's the oils that's really bad for them, so no, don't let the dog eat it.
>>2332496
can you cook a sock full of arsenic in rice and then just remove the sock and be ok?
FUCK PEOPLE WHO LEAVE THEIR SMALL DOGS OUTSIDE. I CAN'T STAND TO SEE A PUG OR SOME OTHER SMALL BREED SITTING IN MY GOD DAMN NEIGHBORS YARD WHEN THEY GO OFF TO WORK. FUCKING LET THEM IN!
my brother has a jug (that's a jack russell crossed with a pug) and they leave it indoors with a dog flap so it can go into the courtyard. It eats their electrical cables while they're at work and they get home to it shaking. They also walk it before they go to work.
dogs are disgusting animals and don't belong inside the house at any time.
>>2332451
Not a big deal, except for pugs and their ilk, if the day is nice.
Can we talk about this smart bird?
https://www.amazon.com/Mind-Raven-Investigations-Adventures-Wolf-Birds/dp/0061136050 good book on them.
>>2332366
Checked.
Have you heard about how crows have been watching us? They have the ability to look out for certain faces in a croud.
>>2332364

not trying to be edgy snowflake but I want one as a buddy
>dog meets their two dogs when she is 6 months old
>they pick on her and snap at her and she goes into the submissive position because she is smaller and younger
>whatever, normal behaviour for adult dogs and puppies
~six months later~
>dog meets same two dogs again when they are all the same size
>they pull the same shit again but this time the younger dog retaliates with the same behaviour instead of backing down
"anon your dog really needs more training. They obviously have anger issues and are very possessive."
>he has advanced liver failure

It's either humping you or its scared.
he's trying to get you to take off those ridiculous meme shoes and get a pair of regular 70s converse so you stop humiliating yourself every single time you leave the house

Seems like humping.
Discourage the behavior. Not because it's meme-domination, but because it's unfavorable

dumb hoodlum
put your computer monitor up against the glass
I feel like the bigger issue would be all of the beneficial bacteria dying without the filter.
I assume your neighbors have a tank of their own?
If you can, do daily water changes when the power is out.
When everything blows over, ask them for some of their filter media, get some Seachem Prime and maybe bottled bacteria depending on how you feel using it, monitor the water parameters like a hawk, and cycle everything all over again.
Help me, /an/. You're my only hope.
You ever see Caddyshack? Remember Bill Murray's war with the gophers?
Well I've got an ongoing war with squirrels.
I live in a condo complex, and provide landscaping for the complex. I am also an avid gardener, or at least, I was until autumn 2016.
We had a hard winter with an unusual amount of snow, which must be what set them off. The little bastards have dug up every single planter and container in the complex. The flowers, the vegetables gardens, the small ornamentals...all dug up by the roots and dirt and mulch scattered everywhere. The only they've left alone are the trees.
Trapping, poisoning, and shooting isn't an option here, and we are next to a forested park, so it wouldn't do much good anyway.
We've tried netting and wire netting(they chew through it), burying plant stakes (they dig them up), tiger piss and capsacin and neem oil (haha yeah right). The complex has cats, dogs, and the occasional coyote visitor, and the squirrels just don't give a fuck.
I'm at my wits' end, /an/ How the fuck do I deter these little bastards?
Are you sure it's squirrels digging up the containers and planters? Typically if it's not a food source a squirrel is not going to be foraging in it.
>>2331964
I am certain it is squirrels. We've set up video cameras.
In one patch of dirt that was 10 ft x 20 ft, a couple of squirrels dug over two hundred holes in a single night.
They will dig down 6-8 inches.
Sometimes they bury stuff in them (acorns, nuts) but usually they are just digging, looking for old food caches.
I don't know why they dig up the container plants. Typically they will nibble on the plant a little, then dig around it until the uproot the plant completely.
It is a weird situation. Squirrels are crazy destructive. The state agricultural commission says that they are responsible for millions of dollars worth of crop and property damage every year. I know contractors who make a lot of money off of fixing damage from squirrels chewing through wiring and siding and anything else they can get heir teeth on. They also drive songbirds away from nesting and feeding sites, which is well documented.
They breed like rats. A single pair can produce 16+ babies in a year.
And yet if if you call the Master Gardeners' or local Tilth helpline, they will tell you that squirrels only nibble on plants very rarely and don't pose any serious problem for gardeners or homeowners. Then they recommend that you support local wildlife by feeding the squirrels or providing nesting boxes for them.
