BIG
Is that a giant African land snail?
>tfw you'll never own one because they can become an invasive pest
>>2329455
If any species is banned in the US you can probably find it in the wild in FL or someone selling it in FL. It's how a few people got these guys but that site has long been shut down.

Hello /an/ I'm writting there cose creating my own universe that going to use in my animation project.
I hope I'm posting in right section. Sorry if I'm not. And for my quite weak English.
Is anyone know where can I find anything (books, articles, videos) related to anthro (or not if u don't know anything like that, every information is important for me) cats or animals in general? Like as in the Carol Darwin evolution theory.
I don't want read about furries, it's not what I'm looking for, it's not just adding an animal mouth, fur and a tail to human body.
I need for example how a skeleton changes or just possible evolution process. Creating my own vision is very hard and complicated. Books or well made science fiction theories would help me a lot.
Thanks for attention.
I've forgotted to add that there can't be any human intervention, like as human has never evolved (and existed) on the Earth but cats (or whatever u found)
>>2328205
If they keep evolving at this rate, they will pass us in no time. They already boss people around and can break human laws. Some of them even got thumbs and some of them have started eating with their newly evolved hands

Watch/Read Red Dwarf. A pregnant cat aboard a spaceship is left alone for 3,000,000 years and a cat-like guy who is obsessed with fashion and preening is the result. They developed their own culture and religion. The cat guy is a main character.
POST NICE AND CUTE ANIMALS AND ALSO GREAT ANIMAL PHOTOS

I think my favorite are Samoyeds. What about you, /an/?
I have good experiences with Samoyeds, great Pyrenees dogs, American Eskimos, Norwegian elkhounds, etc. Spitz types have been pretty awesome so far excluding huskies and shibas. Even the malamutes I've known have been lovely.
Great Danes and rotties too.
My fav was a GP that was just walking around an overcrowded, unairconditioned DMV in the middle of August full of screaming children. He chilled by me for pets every hour or so out of the five hours I had been there but he mostly would go to the screaming kids. He quieted them down. That dog was a blessing.
>>2325940
Aesthetically, I like akita inus, malamutes, and whatever mutts look nice.
Temperament wise, I like whatever mutts act nice, but I really love lab mixes. The only purebred i'd ever actually purchase would be a keeshond.
How safe is he? What are the chances of Ginger just "snapping" one day?
>>2335087
Pitbulls don't just snap. Give me any pitbull that hasn't been trained to be aggressive and I'll give you the most gentle and loving dog there is. It's all about shitty owners.
>>2335087
He'd be better off with a ball of brown recluses

I'm getting this lil guy in a few days from a friend. They don't know what kind of salamander it is. Anyone have any idea? Is it semi-aquatic or terrestrial? I want to have everything set up for it to be comfortable.
>>2334749
tiger salamander. Not aquatic but needs to stay moist and have water available to drink or lay in. Burrows in soil. Eats insects.
>>2334753
Thank you, friend, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
>>2334760
Feed it earthworms dusted in calcium and vitamin powder. I use repashy calcium plus which combines them together. Alternate between dusted and undusted worms and crickets. I think you'll find worm pieces way easier to handle than crickets though. You can also get like a month's worth of food for 5 bucks from the bait section in walmart.
Weird caterpiller thing that had pinchers that ried to sting? Any ideas what this could be? you cant see the pinchers at the top but it reminded me of the things centipedes have
