How do you talk to a friend about something they do that bothers you, without offending them or arguing? For example, one of my friends is very flaky. We have shitloads of fun together with him/myself/others, but making plans with him is a nightmare. Last minute cancellations, vagueness, weeks on end of him being "busy" or "might have plans". Hey, my ex wants nothing to do with me anymore because I was controlling AF, never kissed her and was always rejecting her. I went online and a therapist told me I should be vulnerable and shit so the past three days I've posted her on my IG, told her I loved her a shit ton of times and said I'd do anything to get her back basically. I really love vidya, but man, every time I play I pour all of my time on it and end up losing control. I can't find a way of integrating playing into my daily routine because playing takes over me and replaces the whole routine by making me play non-stop.

It varies on what you'd like to do most but honestly I would get to journeyman (or whatever it is they have in plumbing) before going back to school.
I have a STEM degree that led me nowhere and though I'm debt free I'm thinking about picking up a trade because I enjoy that kind of work and it'd be better money than retail or lab jobs or trying to find a PhD program for some shit I don't even like.
Read the book Shop Class As Soulcraft (it's way better than the shitty title I promise). The guy basically hopped between trades and academia for years and it wasn't a big deal to switch from one to the other or work through school etc.
