Weird thing.. When i read your post, i felt my guts twitching. Because your situation reminds me of my own right now, but from the oposite view... Since 3 weeks or so i'm totally scared for my releationship with my BF, since a very important thing (sexy time) is lacking for some weeks and the last time was a disaster. I've been there. My ex and I were broken up, but still keeping in contact. He wanted to get back together and I wasn't sure because I had become interested in one of my friends who had also become interested in me. I knew I had a lot more fun with my friend than I ever did with my ex. We just had more in common; same mannerisms, interests, sense of humor, values, things like that. I could sit in a call with him without saying anything and be totally comfortable. Whereas my ex and I would randomly have stupid fights for no reason and it was exhausting to be around him sometimes. Even when we had our good times, I felt like I couldn't be around him for long without becoming mentally drained. I knew both of them for at least over a year so I had a pretty good basis to compare the two. Now my friend is my boyfriend and I'm much more happy with him than I ever was with my ex.

I'd suggest going with your gut. Don't just think about the excitement of talking to the newer person, because that will fade. Think about who you have more fun with and who you're more comfortable around. If you have more fun with one and can tell that you're noticeably more excited to see one over the other, then you should go for that relationship.

And as for getting a job with an Associates it shouldn't be that hard. A lot of hospitals are looking for Bachelors though. But they do hire Associates degree holders. They just require you to obtain a Bachelors within five years of hire. Besides that you will be fine. Good luck to you in nursing school anon it will be worth it in the end.
