Dear /adv/,
More than an advice, I'd use some fresh perspective and some of your opinions.
I'm 25 male and since a few months I'm trying to find a decent woman via online dating site. I'm also more than open for making new friends-and-more with those girls I know in real life. I'm currently considering the "candidature" of two decent women.
The problem is, they're both catholic. Or - to be more honest - the problem are my heavily antichristian and general anti-organised-religion convictions, which doesn't go well with their religious membership. I still don't know those girls very well and there are always many other factors, that I need to consider before "Pikachu, I choose you!", but the conflict of values is what surfaces the most.
I know I won't allow a church wedding. I don't want to baptize my children - but I think I'll be able to make a concession in this matter, though there's no possibility of me taking part in religious education of my children, neither in taking part in religious rites with her. Not to mention that spark of disgust, which I'll need to handle eventually.
It also seems quite obvious, that any further steps (if everything goes well) will depend upon other aspect of our relations, the so-called "chemistry", communication, sharing some values and so on, but there are many women to take under consideration in the future. It seems to block me a lot of possibilities.
Please share your thoughts. I'll be glad to answer all your questions, if you will to ask.

It is not easy, but it can work out.
Don't date someone who makes their religion the most prominent characteristic of their personality. You know, the kind of Christian who brings up God for everything, or bases most of their character traits on their religion.
Make sure you respect each other and you don't feel like they're more stupid than you because they believe in God. Faith is just faith, it doesn't make you worse to have it or not to have it.
I think it's important to embrace, at least, similar values and want the same things out of life. Personally I agree with most things Christians believe in, the core values of Christianity are good to me.
Don't date people who try to convert you.
Personally - My boyfriend is very religious. He works at a Church, and is generally very involved in his community. I am not religious at all, grew up in an anti-clerical family and still kinda cringe whenever I walk in a church.
We have a high opinion of each other and we're both very understanding people. I don't think he's worse than me for believing, he doesn't try to convince me that there's a god.
We argued more about politics than we ever did about religion. We even have very similar morals and ethics, and live very similarly.
Sure, we compromise when it comes to religion - he goes to church on sunday and I sleep in, he goes to church on Christmas and I stay at home and cook. He never tried to evangelise me and never treated me badly because I don't believe. He appreciates that I "act" Christian, beside not being Christian.

Thank you, kind Femanon. From what I know from the girl I know online (as for now), she stays close to the Church, but it doesn't seem like the most important think in her life. Religion - as she claims - is more about good deeds. I know she won't try to convert me, she's also convinced, that spiritual differences shouldn't be something, that divides people.
I'm more concerned about the fact if I would be able to deal with those cringy moments you've mentioned. On the other hand, I can imagine a fully matured relationship, in which both people give freedom to each other and live together, despite such differences. Looks like a goal to achieve, if I find her "worth" it.

How do I stop smoking weed? I smoked the last of my supply last night. To put it simply for the past 3 or 4 years I'd say I smoke about $200-400 worth of weed every month, it has slowly made me a lazy person and I am tired of it. I've become a very regular customer at the local dispensary. At the same time it's just become such a normal part of my daily routine to smoke weed first thing in the morning, smoke after work, smoke before I go outside etc. Weed has just become as much a part of my life as say, food, and I realize it's not good and I want it to end.
Any advice from people who have quit or at least seriously reduced their consumption?
Also I realize many people still choose to smoke weed. I'm not judging anybody, I just think this is the best decision for me right now but I still have serious cravings to toke.

Alright, so heres the deal. I've known this girl for 3 years now, and been dating her for about 10 months. I feel she lies a lot and is unfaithful, but I've never actually caught her cheating. I've gotten her to admit that shes losing interest in me, and thinking of her ex and other guys. She's also really flirty with a guy in her class, to the point that others notice it and make comments, but they don't text or anything. She has a history of cheating, or at least being unfaithful. She's the type of girl that used to get on "dating" sites as a young teen and send nudes to guys, but as far as I can tell she doesn't text any guys. She craves attention from others, male and female and has a bad habit of acting out to get it. (acting out = being slutty)
I confronted her the other day. She looked me in the eyes and lied to me multiple times over the course of about 3 months and when I told her I knew she was talking to other guys and thinking over her ex's she broke down over it. Saying she loves me and wants to be with me. She said she was sorry and she would stop but I seriously doubt it.
Do you think it's a red flag, and that she won't be able to stay faithful to me?

Why are the longer Youtube videos that I watch reloading themselves around the 8 minute mark?
Happened a couple days ago. Is it a virus or is it some setting mistake?
I can play short videos just fine, but anything longer than 8 minutes reloads. And it's not the whole page, either, literally just the video, suddenly fading to black, shows the loading wheel, and goes back to the beginning.
What's going on here?

How do I stop having a crush? Look and personality wise she seems ideal and I have very specific standards. But she is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my league so all this does is bring me suffering. Almost everyone else just looks so bad compared to her. I'm a hetero guy with no self esteem or self worth.
My gay friend invited me to a gay bar the other night, so I went for kicks. A lot of gay guys were hitting on me, giving me their numbers, wanting to hook up, groping me, etc.
It increased my self esteem, and I told my straight friend about it today at work. He told me that the opinions of gay guys mean jack shit, because they're guys like us, and just wanna fuck anything.
