I'm an incredibly high-strung cripple and my wife says my intense personality puts her on edge. My mom, uncle, and grandparents also died really early because they were all intense people who just kind of burned out in their late 50s.
I've tried meditation. My mind won't shut up. I've tried weed cookies (I can't smoke it.) Made me sick. I've tried pills. They make my brain move faster. Video games are like a sort of physical/mental therapy endurance course and books are comprehension and nothing more. Music makes my brain try to pick out each individual thing they're doing. Even trying to sleep, my brain tries to archive the moment I fall asleep so it takes forever and I tend not to sleep well.
In short, my brain won't turn off and the normal methods that people suggest don't work. I'm very physically disabled from being born 3 months early (eyes, ear, lungs, central nervous system, no mental deficiencies that I know of) and I feel like, at all times, I have to be the best person I can be otherwise I'm just another cripple who can't work or do anything with their life.
So /adv/ do you have any advice?

Iv been giving subtle flirting ques with my supervisor for the last 3 months. All the signs of attraction are there. Iv heard them talk normally and fluently but iv never noticed any possible signs of a relationship, she plays more with another supervisor then she does with him although i will say she appears more calm with her bf.

Well I have returned after a long hiatus with the hope of correcting this problem. Based on readings around the net pertaining to a link between pornography and premature ejaculation.
