This is the real question, and the answer is maybe. I'd say that scamming people on discord for a paltry sum of money is definitely not that big a deal, but it also depends heavily on what the hell kind of scam you're running. The only problems you can run into all involve running amuck of people who could actually track you down and fuck you over for it. See https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/ and the first few results for this kind of shit on google.
Honestly, considering it's the internet and if you're obtaining the money through fairly untraceable methods, you'll be fine. Honest. I'm assuming you're not doing anything like phishing or identity fraud? Those have very real punishments that you can look up relevant to where you reside.

Hypothetically speaking, if you were interviewing someone for a coding job (specifically webdev) and you see that they have multiple unfinished waifu games and apps along with some finished "professional" apps on their github, would you hire that person?
Also on their twitter they only post updates on their waifu games and other apps. Literally no other kinds of discussions or photos of social interaction.

ok /adv/ this will be a long one, so please bear with me, last year, met two incredible girls (for the sake of less confusion, I'll respectively give them the alias of Israel and Pocahontas) hit it off with both, realized I can only be with one, come this year, I decided that it was going to be Pocahontas, by this time I've connected emotionally with both, bad move, I know. The relationship is going well with Pocahontas, so I decided I have to wean Israel off of me, she refuses because of the experiences we had and it was too sudden for her, cries all the time about it and makes me feel like shit but it's the right thing to do, planned a trip to travel to NY, 2 weeks before my trip I found out Pocahontas slept with someone before we got in a relationship but it was on her birthday and she was drunk, I got mad and revealed to her I had slept with 4 girls whilst getting to know her and 2 days after finding out she slept with someone, I slept with Israel. We decided we'll continue the relationship, I go to NY, things are going well, at this time I've successfully made Israel my friend only based on the prospect her parents are basically leaving her on her own and I'll assist her financially, 3 weeks past, I return from NY, the first week of seeing Pocahontas (my gf) everything is well, up until sunday where she just sends me a message "I want to break up" i asked "why?" she replied "I just feel it's necessary" come to find out that on Israel's instagram there's a shirtless picture of me with the caption of how much she loves me, get furious and message her to take it down, I had gotten her some stuff from NY, so she came over for them and I was done with her but she started crying, made me feel like a p.o.s, we had sex, come this week, gf refuses to talk to me but keeps wanting to see me but only for our interaction to end with "I can't do this" but everyday she requests to see me, later find out that gf and Israel are in contact, exchanging everything that happened

All the doctors I see and my family are urging me to go on antidepressants
However I'm scared of them and have always had bad side effects from them
I'm also scared of them permanently fucking up my sexual response as I've seen online, and there was a study showing that antidepressants decrease life span

How easy is the decision to have them?
My partner and I have secure jobs, we are very much a compatible couple and are great together. We don't own property at the moment but have a very secure home.
I am almost 30. After a recent scare, I think we both realised that having a child is more of an attractive option than we thought.
Anybody care to weigh in on their experiences of parenthood?

If your life is sorted out properly, then the only question that really matters is do you actually want kids. You can divorce your partner, you can change your job, you can move houses. But once you have a kid, then that's it. It's gonna be your damn kid for the rest of your life. So, unless you're absolutely 100% sure that you actually do want to have a child, don't have it. It's one of the only truly life-long commitments you will ever make. If you're sure you want one, then sure, go ahead.

I want to learn meditation but it seems impossible to me. I have several problems that could theoretically be reduced by regular meditation such as anxiety, better sleep, short attention span, lovesickness, procrastination and others. These are especially bad because I actually have a feasible future ahead of me, I'm in college and such, so I really shouldn't screw up.
The problem is that I can't for the love of anything meditate. I keep thinking "don't think of anything don't think of anything fuck what am I doing stop thinking of not thinking anything stop thinking this stop stop stop this is not working" through the ENTIRE FUCKING PROCESS. It seems to be completely ineffective with me. Even if I force myself to spend 15 minutes while sitting down and trying to empty my mind it seems to have no effect.
Can any anons give me advice on meditation? Any meditation methods for beginners like me? I especially want one that gives me patience and force of will to study. I'll follow any advice.

I meditate. I started with random generic self calming mantras. Started out by focusing on breathing. Read somewhere that we tend to breathe in more than we breathe out, so when meditating, you breathe in 5 counts and breathe out 10. Focus on that for a few minutes, then start a mantra. Some relaxing generic but true thought like "death is inevitable and a part of life." While it kinda sounds morbid, it's actually very enlightening.
I switched gears after a couple of years and took up kundalini (the one you have picture in your OP) for more of a guided meditation. I swear by this meditation but it takes at least an hour or two to complete and reach nirvana.
I also use the "pink bubble" method for stray thoughts. Any time a thought comes to your mind, imagine a serene place (I always thought of being near a tree on a hill at sunset, and any thought you have, imagine putting it in a bubble, letting it go, and watching it leave while doing a 5/10 count breath.
I highly suggest kundalini when you go into guided/healing meditation. It changed my life completely.

Also, always meditate in a quite room with absolutely no clutter. I live in an apartment, which is annoying for meditation. Found that the best time for meditation is between 4am and 6am as that is when it is most quite and peaceful. But that's probably for a much longer meditation when you are more comfortable and experienced in it

Need some /g/ood advice
Looking for a powerful enough laptop under 1,000 USD for primarily animation, therefore preferably one with the whole touchscreen gimmick since I can draw right on it.
Looked at HP x360, people apparently shit on HP as much as I thought, being a mid-level tech guy at best, Dell was shit on, now I'm unsure. A lot of comments on the jewtube video made it seem like you need a 'dedicated gpu', better memory, etc. I don't know my way around these basic terms because a lot of it is bullshit "bigger sounds better" marketing.
So I need the real answers from you folk

Actually try a touch-based laptop before you buy one. I tried a surface pro and thought I would like it, but it was endlessly frustrating when the heel of my hand kept switching the layer on me. You need something pen-sensitive with a way to disable touch.
Also, I recommend checking out the Tiger Direct website. They have a lot of good stuff and it goes on sale a lot.
I've also personally had very good experiences with ASUS products. The hardware is solid and powerful and the customer service is pretty good. They have some annoying bloatware (Splendid Video Enchancement is one you gotta be wary of, it makes your screen yellow), but I;ve been very happy with their stuff.
I also have a friend who swears by the larger iPads. Procreate is a good app for it. Dunno if it has good animation software, though.

The kind of software you need will also depend on the kind of animation you do. Is it frame by frame? That's relatively low-cost. Is it motion comic animation? That needs a stronger PC. Is it completely 3D with a lot of post-processing? You need an absolute powerhouse of a computer.
