My current project would be my surplus FN hi power. Gonna get some Wolff spring for it, NP3 coat the barrel and some other small parts, send the rear sight back to trijicon to be replaced due to the right lamp being half as bright as the left, put a new extracter in, and replace the grip safety with a C&S extended.

Also plan on building my Tula AKM kit and installing my AK104 parts and making a proper clone of my SGl21 at some point

There is a highly intricate clockwork mechanism in the back of the gun, that uses the power from the fired round to wind a spring, which in turn runs a mechanism that cleans the chamber following the firing process; it also uses blowback to chamber the next round. This mechanism must be pre-wound prior to firing the first shot.

The remains from the "caseless" rounds, having been removed from the chamber, are pushed into a second compartment that uses the heat from the barrel to power a miniature 'diesel generator' (conceptually, there isn't an actual diesel generator in the gun), which winds a second spring that cocks the firing mechanism to SA mode; it also powers a mechanical "turbine" that cools the rear clockwork mechanism.

Pistols are cheaper than that. There's not much reason to spend more than 600$ on babby's first handgun, and a lot of what you listed can be had for pretty cheap.

Just keep shooting. I was a rifle coach in the Marines. Never fired a rifle a day in my life before bootcamp. Scored a 217, later a 243 when I requalled.

The funny thing is the guy next to me shot a 249. 250 is the max score, it's damn near impossible to do that. His MOS was something paper pusher, a damn pog, but he nailed it because he shot his entire life.

So to reiterate, keep shooting.
