What's the point of the two seat F/A-18F existing if it's not a trainer? Apparently there are some squadrons in the Navy that use the F variant in combat.

That's the EA-18G Growler though.

Lower pilot workload. For certain strike missions, having a dedicated crewman to manage the weapons is really helpful, especially if you've got PGMs with a workload-intensive guidance system.

Why aren't there any pipe receiver guns that use the ar-15 bolt, barrel, barrel extension, and gas system? A steel pipe and the ar-15 bolt and barrel are like made for each others!

Does anyone own one here? Thinking about picking one up in .308 as a trail gun, with a low power (3-5x) optic on it. I've been reading up, and a lot of people are complaining about it, but those are mainly from when the gun came out, in the 2013-2015 time period... which makes me wonder why I still see them for sale.

not OP but also curious.

You are better off with Ruger's scout if you want something like an MVP, imo.

None of Mossberg's rifles are particularly impressive.
>>
>>33696479
Yeah, reading more and more that is the conclusion I am coming to. Even the forum devoted to the rifle has many threads high lighting serious, send-back problems.

For all the shit that gets talked, people snap up the poorfag brands PDQ. And I'm pretty sure some of you are as much responsible as gun flipping bubbas or ghetto blasters.

Show me what you got <$300. Pic related.

Probably the best deal I ever got was a Hakim for $150.
Second would be my E. German Makarov for $90.

There wasn't any wear or scratches on the gun, looked like it was someone's Sunday shooter and barely shot it at all.

every year around the midsummer (depends on the weather, cops prefer rainy days as it masks small sounds) the police make sudden strikes on gun owners to see if they are prepared to defend against the "yellow nation"

The police strike force consists of two ex-fdf T-72M1s, one police recon helicopter, one Mi-8, two police force recon squads, three PaSi APCs, two command cars, four trucks, a 81mm mortar battery and around 220 reservist who have served the optional OPFOR conscription training (2 years + 1 year over seas "peace keeping" tour)

After the initial strike by the Police FR the gun owner has 6 hours to dig trenches, plant mines and fortify his sauna.
The main strike is opened by a 20 minute mortar barrage after which the main force begins it assault.
If the gun owner can hold out for 4 hours or until the neighbouring relief gun owners club arrives he gets to keep his gun licence, if he fails his license is revoked and he is publicly shamed for being a weak warrior not fit to defend the fatherland.
>pic related, typical relief troops

or join the reserves?

I plan on joining the National Guard, it's state instead of federal.
>>
>>33696067
Why? Unless you plan to use them to get a leg up on your career (Talking actual professionalism here not the coolest wrench jockey in the pit) then it's just a glorified day care service.
>>
>>33696477
This generation needs a daycare service for a few years.

Get in shape, yell and be yelled at. Learn to make your bed and keep your room at or get screamed in the face.

These kids need it. It makes a man out of a boy

You can definitely argue that there's diminishing returns on them, but they make good product.

Bought a brand new pistol, it didn't have any fired brass casing in it. Should I be worried about that?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>33695998
No. Only commie states like Jew York and commiefornia require the brass for "crime fighting forensic" purposes. They serve no other purpose. Most companies test fire the weapon before it leaves whether if comes with brass or not.

If you live in a commie state, your local Gestapo police force will voluntarily require you to let them fire your weapon themselves and retain the brass.
>>
>>33696054
Holy fuck that's a requirement?! Jesus Christ, we need a revolution.
>>
>>33695998
>>33696054
I'm confused. Is there a reason there would be spent brass in the firearm?

Tired of my armor smelling like BO after shift. Anybody tried this thing? It's by 221b tactical. My LT swears by his but I don't want to drop a hundred beans if it's just bullshit.

What do y'all do to keep your armor fresh?

South Louisiana here. Always hot.

Put some foot powder or baking soda on your gear, then dust it off. That might help get rid of the funk.
>>
Let it dry out thoroughly and then stick in your freezer for a couple hours. That will kill the stink-causing bacteria.
>>
Do you take your vest home?

If you do, wash it in warm soapy water then put it in your refrigerator overnight, it dries much much quicker that way, also, carry 3 spare T-shirts in your car, whenever you get a break, swap shirts

Also put on a Cold wet T-shirt whenever you can

Right now I have two handguns and my gf has one so they can fit in a small amazon safe. She won't let me get more long gunz unless I secure them in some way.

What went wrong?

Why was it allowed to be so bad?

It's a fucking Piranha variant, like almost every other western wheeled IFV.

IDK how people can shit on the Stryker yet sing the praises of the LAVs, Bisons, and Piranha IIIs.
