Do I need to get proper sleep to improve? I can't fall asleep so I can only spend my time drawing.

I want to become a painter bros

I can't paint, draw, or do anything.

Where the hell do I start? I don't particularly want to pay for art classes at a local community college or something.

I mean I imagine most great artists went to some type of art school, but I don't have time for it now anyway

Why do so many ask "how long will it take to do x" instead of just.... doing it. Is this a generational thing? The time you spend theorizing cheat codes you coud be grinding out work and learning from your mistakes. More fulfilling, imo. Annnnnnd pretty sure the ladies some of you pine for would be more down for someone with a strong work ethic than "get gud quick schemes"

When I look at these kinds of drawings, I really wonder just how long it would take to get to this kind of level. It makes me feel like I'll never be able to get there even though in the back of my head I know I have to keep drawing and learning. What keeps you going

So I jumped back into drawing to teach myself and decided on drawing each day but already after just a week I'm finding I don't care about the stuff I'm drawing at all and am doing it mindlessly. I'm thinking about just finding something random to draw instead of practicing figures and portraits, anyone else get this kind of feeling?
