Are there any skilled and comfy streamers to watch painting? Even better when they have a planned schedule
Zedig has been streaming fairly regularly for a while now on Twitch. Doesn't do much painting though, mostly drawings.

I am searching for an alternative to DA, since it is as good as dead. The community was soft and the content often shit, but I did like the way the site worked. Is there anything similar I could use?
I use tumblr and behance, but tumblr never gives any feedback and Is just generally not built for artists (favorites, galleries, profile page etc.) and behance is more for entire projects than for single art pieces.
artstation is pretty high-quality. I'm not sure if they are ok with stupid stuff like fanart and doodles.
Some of my artist friends have a facbook page for their work. Is that any good?
Does anyone have experience with pixiv? Can a non-moonspeak, non-manga person even get around there?
>>2869686
You can post all the art you want and people will find it with the correct tags, but don't expect to get any meaning feedback.
>>2869686
Twitter could work I guess. But also remember to follow people, like their shit back and/or comment your humble opinion also about their work.
Some people put their ages in their profile page so it's nice to know that most below 18 can't give constructive criticism.
There's also 'Art Amino' but I think it's for mobile only? You could try it as well. Heard it's good for interacting artists.

Did you even read the OP? They said they want a gallery-type site.
Got 'em? Post 'em.

Can anyone recommend some audio books which can help improve you art? I love listening to them while drawing or driving my car.
Up untill now I've mainly been listening to fiction, while it does help with imagination, maybe there are some better options out there.
(download links would be appreciated)

>which can help improve you art?
There's a podcast of Anders Ericsson about focused practice and deep learning. It will serve your purposes.
(I'll post link later. I'm on my phone.)

>people who trace
Translates to anyone who shows skill and who are way better than me. For that to be the first and foremost dislike, she's a bitter cunt who's jealo-Wait...kind of like most people on /ic/.
>draw something for the first time in miniature
>it looks fine
>redraw it larger
>absolute dogshit

Why does this happen?
I drink coffee
"If you can imagine something that weighs six stone or so, is on the point of death and has no qualities of the human condition that aren’t revolting, calmly lying there with a pencil and a scrap of paper, drawing, you have some idea of the difference of temperament that this man had from the ordinary human being."
so what's your excuse /ic/?
So you compare a dying man who has nothing to do in live than to die and to draw with people that live in a world so filled up with images sounds and responsibilitys, they cant even properly concentrate on one fucking thing? If you really want to draw, if you want to do art then throw your fucking laptop in the river and live a ascetic live. Stop wasting time

I want to achieve kjg mod
>>2872321
have you tried learning fundamentals + 40000 combined hours of drawing?
What do you think of my minion drawing? It's from an ant's perspective, so you can see his feet
Good job youre improving

It's shit desu, read the sticky and post in the beginner thread
>>2872419
>Tfw the guy who drew is recommended in sticky
Fuck
how do you deal with the crushing loneliness that extended periods of drawing brings?
Learn to love it or ignore it
Have extended periods of non-loneliness to balance it out. Go out with your friends, take walks in nature, go to public places, whatever you can do.
Then when you get back into your drawing isolation, it will feel like a relaxing break from all the social stimuli.
I funpost on /ic/ in hopes for some (you)'s. It makes me feel like I exist. I should probably just get friends.
This is the First cute girl Ive ever drawn. Can someone post some pencil or pen drawings of cute anime girls for reference? It seems easier to me when they are pencil
It would have been perfect is it wasn't rotated.
Wtf? Here is one not sideways and with the mouth fixed
>mobile posting
post good pieces done in pencil.

Quick question....do you think that 3D art is UNDER represented on this board ? I get the vibe that this is some angry 2D only board
Do half of you even know anything about 3D and how fast it is?

i need help looking for a painting from a previous BP award possible late 90's early 2000's of a an Asian family playing the ps1, heres some BP stuff anyway
What do you think?

It's nice. Really clean coloring.
The left arm (her right) seems a little odd though. Her upper arm seems a bit noodley to meet up with her elbow. Following the line from the bottom of her forearm you can see where things go wrong.
Very nice for what it is, just remember arms never bend other than at the elbow. So if the elbow is bent, there should be no other curves in the form.
>>2870151
Also, keep your hand out of the photo. It's just not very professional looking.
What kind of pen is that?
