True, but only to an extent. This is like a low rated, low skill video game player giving advice on how to play and get better, when he hasn't even been successful in his own advice. Yeah no shit, it's called being self conscious. As your skill goes up so do your standards. Where before simply drawing a hand without crooked lines was an accomplishment, a year from then having a single line off is enough to think "Christ I'm awful".

Sorry pal but you clearly don't know anything about architecture. A master bath the same size as the bedroom? The door openings right next to each other? The bathroom is also way too long and narrow, stairs take up too much space, garage is badly proportioned, don't even get me started on the size and shape of that 1st floor bath and bedroom. You really wouldn't want to live in a fortress.

I've looked through their instagram.
Drawing the same face over and over, mostly heads or bust shots.

dude there is no style to this, no lineweight, no from, the colors you picked don't work together you didn't even pic the right color to shade and the weirdest part is that even with those super thick outhlines the linework doesn't look smooth at all

the only way you could make me accept this is if maybe you post a full body pic of that characters and it turns out it actually had a body that follows the most basic anatomy rules

that way i could at least justify it as a very weird style

It doesn't matter if it's derivative, or how much you changed it. If it can be obviously recognized and linked back to an IP, it's potentially (and likely) copyright infringement.
