That'll get you started. It's just a lot of not fucking up the grain, and visualizing/practicing.

Second, prepare for cuts all over your hands, not just a few but truly.
your entire hands will be covered in small cuts and scars for almost your entire life.
Woodcarving chisels are so sharp they cut you in half as soon as you think of one...
