>shallow breath 10 minutes later

I feel like I'm burning up as I sit half naked on my couch. What the fuck just happened to me. My eyes still feel heavy, my brain is foggy as fuck and now I feel like complete shit

Is this hypoglycemia or celiac's disease? I haven't eaten much today, a bagel with cream cheese, protein shake early this morning, some cranberry juice. I literally feel like my iq has dropped.

you're maybe developping an allergy, it can happen later in life, even post-puberty

the symptoms you describe sound like a mild Quincke edema reaction, especially the fast heartbeat and loss of mental coherance. If it weren't for that, it could be just bad food you ate, but those 2 symptoms are not from food poisonning.

You should check up w/ doctor, your next peanut buttter sandwich could litteraly kill you if you are allergic.

When I went to the Harris Teeter website (where I get groceries), I looked at the nutritional facts for black beans, because I heard from here that they are a great source of protein, and as you can see in the picture, it only has 14 grams of protein per cup.

however, when you search "black beans nutrition" on google, it says a cup should have 39 grams?!

Different brands and types of black beans have different nutritional content. I usually check wolfram alpha for this kind of stuff and according to that site, a cup of black beans has 227 calories and 15g of protein. 39g of protein seems like a hell of a lot considering that's 75% of the RDI for an adult male in a single cup.
Just find a brand you like and check the label rather than doing it online; you should be getting about 14-16g of protein per cup from any given brand.

Yeah, I used to have this problem at work, where I didn't have enough time to eat a full lunch. What I did was go to a grocery store that had a large variety of foods that were both high in protein but didn't require much time to prepare, and just ate those most of the time.

I can't seem to push myself to git fit I always try and do a exercise routine but I end up just stopping.Its been a whole year since I've actually exercised again and I'm only gaining weight now How does a fat neet find the motivation and exercise ?

What are your end goals from fitness as a whole, when you look back on your life of fitness as an older person will you have achieved them?

This could include certain PRs, 3xBW deadlifts etc+, 50 pullups, a certain physique etc

What do you want from fitness before your eventual decline in physical capability...

I really just want to compete regionally high level in pl by 25.
I want to get my brown belt in judo.
After that i really just want to be a /fit/ dad, making all the milfs wet'n'dat.
I mean runs, swimming and cycling as well as keeping muscle.
Might give strength training a visit latter in life with my kids.

I want to be big enough to fill out a large t shirt, while maintaining 10-12% bodyfat. So probably 100-110 kg at 1.85m.

I also want to get better at martial arts, no specific goal, it's just fun as hell and a good skill to have.

Really I'm working out to just be as fit as I can, and to look the part. Also, oddly enough, I've actually started to enjoy physical activity, so hopefully I dont get bored of it anytime soon, or ever.

So after watching this and countless documentaries plus doing my own research, I have finally come to the conclusion that going vegan is the best way to really be healthy and make better gains.

My question to you /fit/ is, is there ANY reason what so ever to continue eating animal products, knowing what we know today about how horrible meat and chicken and fish is for you? I mean, of course meat tastes good but so does sugary sweets, the only difference is that the animal product is actually worse for your health than sugar is.

So, whats stopping you from becoming vegan? Other than taste of course. Don't you want to be truly healthy? After doing some shopping on a vegan diet today I actually found out its even cheaper than a regular meat based diet. Not to mention all the professional athletes that are going vegan and finding out that they actually perform better than ever. Seems like a no brainier to me.

I accepted the fact that maybe in the future we won't need any food from animal sources
Cell culture technology are developing way faster than agriculture and livestock

The problem is

it bugs my mind why vegans can't accept the fact that most people won't stop eating meat because it's fucking natural
just fucking study biotech or something that can actually help humanity while protecting the animals
