need gf advice...here we go again
i hate making threads here because usually im just in denial but i feel actually confused right now. so ive been seeing a girl for a few months and everything has been going pretty well but lately shes been a bit distance. and thats normal to me, i get it that people can be busy or whatever. but recently i asked her to actually be my girlfriend and she said yes but she said she was nervous because she didnt want to hurt me. that really caught me off gaurd. im not sure of her past but she said she often disappoints people in the long run. she also explained to me how she is depressed and has abandonment issues. shes only lived in my country for a few months and we do not share the same first language so sometimes its hard to communicate but we are really open so far. anyways she took a small trip a few days ago and i texted her to ask how the trip was going and she didnt reply. then she got back and two days later i said hello. still no reply. and no its been a few more days and still nothing. it says she read them. i dont know what kind of advice im looking for. does she not like me? im really empathetic when it comes to depression and she said sometimes shes so down she doesnt even want to text anyone but its been days without a word. i just have that sinking feeling in my gut. i dont know what to think

Why do people continuously pester me about getting more "experience" before I settle down? I've been with the same guy for years (we're both literally eachothers first everything) but everyone still tells me it's a bad idea to get married even without "exploring" even though I know my boyfriend inside and out and we love everything about eachother. I just don't understand. I've never even considered it but is it really better to have sex with more guys first? It's mostly because a lot of shit people take advantage of their first relationship because the person doesn't know how to tell they're being lied to or falls for dumb tricks.
As long as your bf isn't trying to seperate you from people that would protect you like family or close friends, and he genuinely respects you, don't worry about it, at all.
If you're right, and it sounds like you are, you are super lucky and should count your blessings and enjoy your many years together. Not many people find the right person on their first go.

Think about where the fuck in the world these anons are replying you from. How old are they, who are their friends, how much money they have, what do they do. People are so amazingly different. Sometimes you'll find something that supports what you want to do, sometimes you don't, but what both have in common is that they do not determine your experience at all. People are not thinking of you or of themselves in the same terms you are.
If you are insecure or in doubt about hitting someone who likes anime, just don't be insecure. You won't find tips asking strangers about it, perhaps just more things for your head to think and think before making a move and seeing for yourself. Realize you can try it out and it may be good or not, work out or not, it may be good for sometime and then not be good, you might be rejected and accepted and none of that is really saying anything about how things ought to be for the next person.

Around 4 years ago I broke up with a long time girlfriend and it hit me pretty hard. She had cheated on me with my best friend. I was depressed for around 9 months and ended up moving to another city to try and start a new step in my life, everything in that city just reminded me of her.
Ever since then, although I don't love her anymore, I found it really hard to commit to another relationship. I'm not a great looking guy, but im tall and pretty average looking, so I've had some interest since then. The problem is I'm always too afraid to commit to it, and the girl normally loses interest quickly.
Anyway, cut to today. I havent had any interest from a girl in around a year. But recently, a friend told me that he knows a girl who is really attracted to me (we had met one night at a group gathering but I didn't really speak to her much). Anyway she seems like a nice girl, shes not normally the type of girl i'd go for, but shes still pretty attractive. The problem I'm having is that although i think shes nice to talk to and attractive, i dont think about her all the time like I did when i first met my ex. My heart isnt racing when we're together and although i think about her sometimes, its not too often. It's only been a week and a half since i knew she liked me, and we've met twice since then (both times with a group of friends, although i have asked her as of yesterday if she would like to go on a date)
I was just wondering if you had any recommendations? Do I keep meeting her and see what happens? Or do i call it off now?
I havent felt crazy about a girl in years, and I'm worried that i never will, so part of me wants to pursue this girl and see if anything changes. Another part of me thinks I shouldn't lead her on if ultimately it feels like i'm never gonna feel crazy about her.

It doesn't matter if you're not crazy about her. Being crazy about someone is what I would call blind love. That shit fades fast. If you think the girl is good date material, go for it. But don't go into it expecting it to fix your problems.
It sounds to me that you aren't over your ex. You might want to deal with those demons before getting into a new relationship. If you do decide to get into a relationship, you need to be CRYSTAL CLEAR about your past.

I have been seeing a girl since January. She knew about my past before being with her (because I'm honest) that I'd had sex before, that I had sex with some people just for the sake of sex, and that I once cheated on my ex because she was treating me like shit (turns out she was cheating on me the whole time, and even she admitted that she can't blame me for doing it after how she treated me).
This girl I'm seeing is a virgin who's obsessed with the "value" of her virginity. She says I am unworthy because of my sexual past. I'm impure. She is "disgusted" by it.
I've been 100% loyal to her since we started, which is over 6 months now, even when she wasn't /with/ me. Yet to her I'm still impure, unworthy, disgusting.
Irony here is, she actually cheated on her boyfriend with me without me knowing he existed. They were long distance. She was shitty. She chose him after it all came crashing down, I persisted, in the end I beat him and kept her.
She says she loves me and doesn't need the sex, so it's not a big deal if we never have it, as she'll still touch me and suck me off, but this extreme hatred and disgust and calling me unworthy is really not right.
I guess I just am looking for advice on how to get her to either stop this abusive thought process or what else I can do. Despite her beliefs, I've changed dramatically ever since I started with her and I'd never risk cheating on her. What the fuck do I do?

Is it weird to ask women out with no real intention on dating them? I have two females that I knew awhile back, worked with them.
I miss working with them and wanted to ask one of them to come out with me and maybe catch up or do something. I wouldn't mind dating one of them but it really doesn't matter to me. I just want someone to chill out with and they were cool girls.

For those that don't know, a contract marriage is when you marry a military member for benefits (increased pay, insurance, etc).
So my fwb recently enlisted in the military and it has come to my attention that spouses of military members get benefits and the benefit that mostly sticks out to me the extra money for housing.
Right now I am a student in a CC, so relocating is not an issue for me, in fact, I'd actually like to get out of my hometown, it's the primary motivator of getting a contract marriage for me at least. My fwb would also get a pay increase as well for having a dependent so it works out on both sides.
Is it worth doing? Are there any 'hidden' consequences that I should be aware of (other than it being illegal)? How much should we realistically be looking to pay for housing? I figure a 1bed/1bath apartment would be fine.
