need gf advice...here we go again
i hate making threads here because usually im just in denial but i feel actually confused right now. so ive been seeing a girl for a few months and everything has been going pretty well but lately shes been a bit distance. and thats normal to me, i get it that people can be busy or whatever. but recently i asked her to actually be my girlfriend and she said yes but she said she was nervous because she didnt want to hurt me. that really caught me off gaurd. im not sure of her past but she said she often disappoints people in the long run. she also explained to me how she is depressed and has abandonment issues. shes only lived in my country for a few months and we do not share the same first language so sometimes its hard to communicate but we are really open so far. anyways she took a small trip a few days ago and i texted her to ask how the trip was going and she didnt reply. then she got back and two days later i said hello. still no reply. and no its been a few more days and still nothing. it says she read them. i dont know what kind of advice im looking for. does she not like me? im really empathetic when it comes to depression and she said sometimes shes so down she doesnt even want to text anyone but its been days without a word. i just have that sinking feeling in my gut. i dont know what to think

First, stop reading into things into such great detail. She says she's having second thoughts on being your girlfriend? She doesn't reply to you but leaves you on read? She has issues? Then you know what to do. There's a ton of red flags man.

i see the signs and everything. but with this relationship its just that when we are together non of that seems relevant. everything seems normal and makes sense. only when we are separated do i start to question things

Is it both of you? Anyways OP I can't convince you to dump her. You seem like you want to stay this badly but I don't see it ending well. Communication is key. Do you place more significance in the relationship than her?

i do want to stay in this badly but i also might be a little impatient right now. she seems to genuinely like me although im sure i like her more than she likes me. im a very patient person and i think thats when people might take advantage of me. so far she hasn't but im worried. this doesnt really feel natural. but i dont have a lot of experience so idk if its supposed to feel super natural right away. and since shes from a very different culture it might just be me misinterpreting things but i doubt its that
