Not sure where you can find it, but you only have to put it inside a folder and put it on the SD card

You'll need to create a folder called "ED64P" (no quotes) in the root directory and place this file inside it. Once you do this it should start up properly. You can then place the ROMs anywhere on the SD card.

The best way to play is non-retro (PSP).
The PS1 version of Persona 1 is fucked up beyond recovery and Persona 2 is missing the "first game".

Personally, Persona 1 is not all that good, but Persona 2 feels way better.

Holy shit do not play Revelations Persona, it's a master-class in botched localization unless you play the PSP verson. II is okay on the PS at least and the missing part has a translation available.

I get stuff almost exclusively at fleamarkets. I don't go there looking for just games so even if I don't find any I don't come away empty handed. It's not necessarily the "best" option but if you're patient and persistent you can rack up a good collection for pennies on the dollar compared to ebay.

I think conceptually they're a neat idea. Like maybe I wanna play a really expensive or rare game, but don't want to emulate or use an everdrive (which I think is sort of emulation as well, right?), so a repro cart would be a good option

of course in actuality the quality is usually complete shit and anything more complex than simple launch shit is essentially a one-trick everdrive and the PCBs are always so wide I might as well jab the fucking cart slot with a screwdriver

also I get a little upset about how often I see them sold as the real thing

Unfortunately initial google searches bring up just some compilations of hentai images put together as a slideshow from people that obviously had nothing to do with making the images.
