Just started it, what's wrong with it? Seems okay, but the puzzles seem easy and the cutscenes are kinda long but that's not too bad for PnC adventure games.

They're 'good' in the same way cheesy horror movies are good.
Phantasmagoria 1 has more or less one puzzle in the entire game and its not even a very good puzzle. I still like the game for being doofy as all fuck... but it's not 'good'.

How do you get FMV from pre-rendered backgrounds? Was FFVII FMV too?
