My flake sells bones and bone accessories.

He's a bit 'get off muh lawn' when it comes to his own plane though.

1588 – The last ship of the Spanish Armada sets sail from Lisbon heading for the English Channel.
1635 – Thirty Years' War: The Peace of Prague is signed.
1814 – Napoleonic Wars: War of the Sixth Coalition: The Treaty of Paris (1814) is signed returning French borders to their 1792 extent. Napoleon is exiled to Elba.
1868 – Decoration Day (the predecessor of the modern "Memorial Day") is observed in the United States for the first time.
1899 – Pearl Hart, a female outlaw of the Old West, robs a stage coach 30 miles southeast of Globe, Arizona.
1913 – The Treaty of London is signed, ending the First Balkan War.
1941 – World War II: Manolis Glezos and Apostolos Santas climb the Athenian Acropolis and tear down the German flag.
1942 – World War II: One thousand British bombers launch a 90-minute attack on Cologne, Germany.
1967 – The Nigerian Eastern Region declares independence as the Republic of Biafra, sparking a civil war.

battle-of-lipany-1024x643.jpg

It is 583 years since the Battle of Lipany (in Czech: Bitva u Lipan, also called the Battle of Český Brod) was fought at Lipany, 40 km east of Prague, and virtually ended the fifteen-year-long Hussite Wars. An army of Utraquist nobility and Catholics, called the Bohemian League, defeated the radical Taborites and Orphans (or Sirotci) led by Prokop the Great, the overall commander, and by Jan Čapek of Sány, the cavalry commander.

The radicals had set up a Wagenburg on a strategically advantageous hill, and both armies stood against each other for some time. An attempt by the Utraquists to negotiate and resolve the conflict peacefully failed due to irreconcilable positions of the two sides. Three days after the unsuccessful negotiations, the Leaguers advanced to the radicals' encampment; although the following mutual cannonade was harmless due to distance between the two armies, to the surprise of the radicals the Leaguers began to retreat with all their wagons.

Thinking that the enemy was fleeing, the radicals' commanders opened the Wagenburg to attack the Leaguers' formation, not knowing that the retreat was a trick to draw them out of the Wagenburg. As the radicals approached the Leaguers' army, the Leaguers stopped and began to fire from their wagons. At the same time, the Leaguers' heavy cavalry, which had been hidden near the radicals' camp, undertook a surprise attack from the side and penetrated into the open Wagenburg. The radicals' army quickly collapsed and the commander of the Orphans' cavalry, Čapek of Sány, fled with all his men to the nearby town of Kolín.

The battle now changed into a massacre of the lightly equipped radical forces. Both Prokop the Great and Prokůpek (Prokop the Lesser) were killed, holding "the last stand" at the wagons. Some prominent leaders of the radicals were captured, but about 700 ordinary soldiers who surrendered after promises of renewed military service were burned to death in nearby barns.

If it only requires small adjustments then yes I will always try to snag extra command points. The re-rolls are absolutely vital for some armies.

I need help with a zombie theme army for 40k come 8th ED

I want a mass poxwalker army. As many as I can field + support for them.

What would work well with them?

I'm hoping I can pick up a ton of them on release day from people looking for Primise marines.

How should I build my army? I'm looking for about 150 strength but the system seems so weird to me because I haven't played since tau were new.

Can anyone from /tg/ give me a hand I think this army would be really fun to play.

The zombie theme where they kill and make new zombies + being able too reroll wounds just sounds like old undead in Warhammer fantasy.

pox walkers say that they come in a 10-20 man unit but the book says they are strength 3... does that mean a unit weather or not they are 10 or 20 man would still be the same strength?

I could use some suggestions on what to add and what to cut. The deck needs some refinement.

Coming from the D&D side, it's casual as fuck, but coming from the Betrayal side, I always kind of wanted them to do a dungeon exploration one. I always liked Betrayal.

It will just be 75% recycled/renamed cards from the original.

I would pick this up if I didn't own the original and expansion.
>>
I dunno...the expansion for Betrayal was all over the place in its writing and scenarios, with several Haunts being either unplayably ambiguous, or just poorly playtested.

I'd have to play it at a store, or wait for it to show up on TTS before spending money on this franchise again
>>
I have been putting off buying Betrayal for years now. Will pick this up instead since other people in my group have the original version.

We have yet to have any truly catastrophic fuck ups, but it's only a matter of time.

Our opening mission involved stealing a crate from a shipping warehouse.
(We could have stolen it from the Yakuza en route to the warehouse, or a Knight Errant Team after it shipped, but the Warehouse was easiest.)

We scoped the place, we got in, hacked the systems, ID'd the crate, and even managed to slip our Infiltrator/Sniper into the warehouse to where the crate was.

Then we realised the crate was actually pretty fucking heavy, our Infiltrator could barely lift it, and our Troll was outside waiting in the van.

While we were arguing about this our Infiltrator got spotted, a firefight broke out, and we ended up with an Attack Helicopter on our asses, our Hacker (me) and Dumb Muscle arrested by the Star, and several high calibre rounds punched through the heavy, but apparently badly armoured crate full of valuable paracritter hides.

Since I'd stowed all my hacking gear and only had my (licensed) sidearm, and a dummy commlink on me, I got off pretty easy. The Dumb Muscle got all of his (unlicensed) weapons taken off him, a massive beating, then another massive beating because he had a forbidden weapon and thought that hiding it UNDER THE NEXT VEHICLE was secure.

Our cut from the run was drastically reduced to cover the damaged goods, and our bail money. It took us a few shitty runs to get off our Fixer's Shit List

After skimming through the Tau thread i realized again that i really like the Tau but they just don't fit into the 40k universe. Besides the whole new noble dark shtick that condenses everything into "Roboter Gulliman and the Imps vs. Chaos" is really shit.

So lets remove Humans and Chaos from the equation.

I throw some ideas into the mix and then /tg/ can decide if it is interested in contributing.

>Eldar are the oldest race. They used to be the top dog controlling the galactic core. Their empire encountered wild orcs and fought them for millennia. They severely underestimated the Orcs and for the most time continued being the degenerate hedonists we know from standard 40k. The Orcs on the other hand thrived due to the constant warfare. They mastered technology and slowly changed from wild orcs to your standard 40k orcs.

At some point the Orcs started overpowering the Eldar. Despite the fact that the Eldar now were fully committed to the war effort. A massive WAAAAAAAGH crashed into the central worlds of the Eldar Empire and decapitated it.

>Craftworlds were a massive project to ensure the continued existence of the Eldar once the Runeseers realized that the Eldar would loose.

>Nowadays the Eldar are politically fractured. Craftworlds and remaining planets and small clusters seldom work together. Basically everyone is following their own little plan how the Eldar will return to their former glory.

>Other option: The Eldar empire is a thriving and expansionist empire.

>Orcs control the galactic core. Being orcs they started vicious infighting once the central eldar worlds were conquered. So they were unable to completely destroy the eldar. Other than that they are your 40k orcs.

So basically your proposing that we remove humanity entirely from the setting for the sake of giving the Tau more of the spotlight yeah? Make things a bit friendlier to them? Maybe have them take a similar role to mankind during the Great Crusade, only instead of going out and reclaiming worlds they are just expanding and discovering them as they push out and colonize? Something like that?

Hi OP,
This twice is made at least twice a week and is always the same so here's the quick rundown in a single post.
-There's Pokemon Tabletop Adventure and it's derivative Pokemon Tabletop United (PTA/PTU)
These are the most well known pokemon games but they are also incredibly shitty games. Crunchy emulationist messes with with combat that can be measured in quarters of the day wasted.
-There's Pokerole. This is a less messy system and has a PMD splatbook. It is functional but just barely. Read it and make your own judgement.
-And then there are generic systems like FATE. These are probably your best bet, but they rely on you homebrewing. Good luck!

The thread will now devolve into people arguing about PTA/PTU
