It's okay. Not to my tastes, overly simplified when compared to 4e combat and kinda weak out of combat, but I can see why people who want a stripped down version of a tactical combat focused RPG would enjoy it. I just feel it lacks the depth to really express myself or my character through the mechanics.

Is that Samurai Jack Jump Imaged yet?

If not, you might want to look at the Physical Enhancements side of the jump. Some of the perks are overpriced or weak.

Like super speed is both more expensive and slower then Flight. You'd think it would be faster because it is land 2d versus flights 3d movement, and then faster still because it costs twice as much.

Is Jack unaging longevity over 50 years covered by a perk like Regeneration, Indomitable Will, his unbreakable sword, or something unknown not offered by any perk because it is never explained well enough?

Should Enhanced Reflexes be part of Enhanced Speed or Enhanced Agility?

I'm actually playing an Int-based War Medic, not a cleric or magic healer, just to defy the Healslut AND the Healbrat meme, and actually make a quality character. He may actually be my best character yet, besides the Rogue that pulled a full Henderson twice in the same campaign.

come up with a character, with wants and fears and all the little things that give a character character, then decide on his class, independent of his personality.


why not have a rogue who altruistic and has a soft spot for those caught in a clutches of foul circumstances or a dick ass paladin whose is so jaded that he cant even remember why he does it anymore.

Also kinda likes the looks of the hunters guild.

But there are only a small handfull of people around me that play. more people play blood bowl by me then guild ball.

from my understanding brewers are a more simple team that rely on hitting and their own staying power to counter being more easily outplayed by other teams.

what about the hunters playstyle?
how is the game balance?

Hunters are about applying the snare condition and delaying their loss long enough to win. They just got a decent buff from actually having some extra choices/ability to play ball. Theron is more stab man than archer.
Balance is pretty ok, there are pretty clear divides between the top half/bottom half but its possible to do ok with most options.

Final battle between the hero and villain cycles through all of their equally powerful ultimate attacks, until all they're left doing is fist fighting as everyone watches. No music, no cheers. Just the grunts and yells of rage and determination.

Trying to think of more.

Princesses. All types, both ends of the spectrum. Prissy, spoiled bitches who only exist to be kidnapped and berate the heroes when she's put in the slightest uncomfort.
Inventor or warrior princesses who smirk when they realise that the heroes expected to 'rescue' anyone, and who go on to play a larger role in the campaign.

Honestly, princesses are fantastic. I try to use them as much as I possibly can.
