How do we get you to die.
Doesn't have to be painful, you just need to stop posting.

what do you do?

Start taking bets on who's going to win.
Let's make a setting our of alcoholic beverages, /tg/. Beer, brown liquors, white spirits, wine, what-have-you!
>in the beginning there were skeleton girls...'cause you can't go nowhere with no bones.
>Then the brown angels created brown beers and liquors
This seems racist

Since we already know what's going to be in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, what are you hoping for from Tomb of Annihilation?
>>53603960
Had an Alchemist in my Phandelver group. He was more useful than my (Take 10) Awakened Mystic.
>>53604014
Kek.
>>53603954
Sounds fucking fantastic.
>>53604014
The premise and everything about Tomb of Annihilation sounds fucking rad, hope they can deliver.
Maybe ideas on how to deposit it in an alternative campaign setting or your own homebrew world.
so, how does it work exactly?
>>53603846
Poorly.

First you roll a d20. Then you punch yourself in the dick.
Well, not really, but that's less painful than the actual 3.5 grappling rules.
Post art, lore or what you like bout them
They're space Drow, what's not to love?
My nigga
What would a sci-fi setting where biblical angels return to cleanse the earth of all 'sin' be like?
Hardmode: 70% of the population is already gone and the rest are holed up in cold-warring city states with their own agendas
>>53603146
40K but with some words switched out.
I'd imagine a lot of the current religions (Christianity, Islam etc) have their own city states believing the other religions are responsible and thinking they just need to wait it out
Assuming you take what the mythology says at face value, we would lose hard.
If not, then it would all depend on just how strong these angels actually are if we aren't taking the Biblical myths as realistic depictions.
But I'd assume it would need to be some sort of gnostic idea.
Weird art for weird games and shows like Unknown Armies, Stranger Things, Utopia, Trail of Cthulhu, Delta Green, Kentucky Route Zero, Changeling the Lost, etc.
Post what you got.
In a mountain rage I'm doctor strange
I see favorite chapter thread on here quite often and I don't know how people pick. Whenever I think I've found a favorite I find something new about a different chapter and the process starts all over again. How did you find the chapter that speaks to you most in such a large and diverse roster?
Looks
Space wolves were my original favorite because both their looks, and their demeanor. I always loved their "We would rather open fire on an inquisition ship than the civilian vessel they want us to destroy" attitude.
Passed them on to my wife though bc she's a big wolf nut. I've got some ultras now and I'm going to pick up Death Guard when 8th drops.
That's not counting my other armies (Crons, AdMech, Tau, Knights, Orks, a few fantasy armies, wife has DEldar too). Honestly the chart you posted isn't that bad if you know you want SM and you're not sure which flavor. It's a good starting point.

I used to read Warhammer Monthly when it was in print all those years ago. When I saw Dan Abnetts Iron Snakes strips something just clicked, cool, simple, chapter icon, interesting characters, Eldar getting fucked on. Then I found out about the Inferno short stories and seeing that chapter and the characters expounded upon cemented it all for me, this was the army for me. I then started repainting my space wolves and I've been playing them ever since.
Does that sound too different for orks and I should give the race another name?
>Originally a large tribe of elves.
>Did something that extremely angered the gods of the elves.
>As a punishment their magic is taken away.
>In addition, they can now age and can reach a maximum age of 60-80 years. Normal elves can be 500+ years old.
>Are attacked by other tribes.
>They flee.
>They are contacted by rogue gods who offer their help.
>Under their influence, they become an very warlike society. They are also "shaped" and become bigger and stronger.
>Become one of the most advanced races. Are particularly good blacksmiths
>Are not very gentle to the environment. industrial wastelands everywhere.
>Hate elves.
Sounds like a good twist on tolkeins idea of corrupted elves, go for it.
>>53602231
>Violent
>Ugly/Defaced/Rough looking
Those are basically the only traits common to orcs across all universes.
I'd say that backstory is pretty great.
>>53602231
So they are basically short lived Noldor. At least this description doesn't give away that they look or have the stats of orcs.
>want to play a Northern-themed campaign
>hexgraph West Marches style
>need ideas so my players won't just see it as yet another skyrim knock off
>>53602112
First off, who are you quoting?
>>53602112
Post-apoc with robot antagonists.
>>53602112
arx fatalis
Are there any miniatures games where you don't have to fucking paint everything? I just want to field an army of cool dudes and send them into battle, not perform some shitty paint job.
>>53601944
Fuck off, frogposter.
>>53601944
Heroscape.
>>53602008
Heroscape sucks
>The chamber swells, space folding in on itself, the wrinkles in space-time filling with red antimatter, writhing out like fingers of blood.
>The air becomes filled with hideous silent static, like a backwards scream in hard vacuum, somehow silent yet deafening.
>Unreality coalesces in the chamber, pushing back at reality, bulging and distorting gravity and time. It feels like it occurs in an instant and a millennia all at the same time. It's revolting.
>From the crimson unreality begins to form an ethereal body, tattered and ruined, from its eyes radiates a colorless malice. When it speaks, it is as if random sounds or words have been cut and played to sound like words from an ancient media device.
Mortal deathless. Living stars. Conquering monarchs. Greetings. Exaltation. Congratulation.
Us, I, It. The Carmine Plane. The Ascendant Cosmos. Creation's Phantom. The Consuming Reality.
We, I, It. Have come to reward, tribute, adore.
>The phantom becomes more corporeal, it's crackling, distorted speech more coherent.
I came hungering for your energy and matter, your delicious reality. The Carmine Plane came here to find weakness and devour you for your failings. I found instead ExoCorp Brand Coffee Substrate #1763 "Jeriuax Bold Blend". Of all the stimulants in the multiverse, this has by far been the most potent made, our many minds did not find sleep for eternities. That your kind drinks this chemical regularly without dying is proof of your strength.
We have come to a desicion. As the first reality in many cycles to impress the Carmine Plane, we will grant you three Favours. These wishes have few limitations, but for simplicity's sake I only treat with one mind, and grant Favours that the majority agrees upon.
Come, what will you ask of the devouring space-time that is the Carmine Plane?
